We ordered an 8in birthday cake and a mini cupcake platter for my daughter’s 5th birthday. Stacy was super responsive from
the moment we submitted the request and throughout the process. The cake was perfectly decorated and was also very tasty. Would highly recommend for any custom cake requests!

Long Version lol:

My family and I came down to Austin from NJ to spend time with his family. His brother’s birthday was the next day & I had found out he doesn’t have desert because he’s lactose intolerant. After hearing how his mom wasn’t able to find him anything without dairy and who I am as a person, I made it my mission to find him vegan dessert for his birthday. Especially since his birthday and the anniversary of my dad passing were the same day it felt great to do something happy.

I found Rise Coffee & Bakery online and everything looked so amazing. So, I took a chance to make an order at 11pm and sent an email. I wasn’t expecting to wake up to a text from Stacy ready to help !

Stacy was an absolute gem to talk to and we were able to pick up the cupcakes that afternoon. To say my BIL was happy is an understatement. The cupcakes did not last long at all - they were absolutely delicious. Thank you to Stacy and the team for being able to make this happen on less than 12 hours notice.

Such a darling place! I’m definitely going to spell her name wrong, but Okorie was so sweet and helpful! Lots of comfortable places to set up and work with pillows and comfortable seating. If you are into Matcha and amazing sweets this is the spot to be in South Austin!

I purchased my daughter’s 13th birthday cake from this bakery. They made a beautiful cake with just a little challenge- one of the pieces wasn’t GF. They could’ve easily done nothing or even refunded a little bit to make up for it. Instead, they drove 3 hours round trip with brand new beautiful GF cupcakes for my daughter. It was above and beyond and just incredible service. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. We’ve always loved the bakery, but you’ve won our business forever.

Ordered a 4” custom cake from here (to surprise my husband for his birthday) via the website, spoke with the owners over email and they were delightful. We discussed putting a topper on the cake since it was so small and they wouldn’t be able to fit much writing, of course. It was going to say, “Happy birthday [husband’s nickname]!” I was worried I was going to go into labor before the pick up day (I did! Two days before his birthday!), so my stepdad went to pick it up. After he got it, he sent me a photo of the cake. It just said [husband’s nickname] in irregular cursive and nothing else. No topper! I actually could not stop laughing, it was better than I could have imagined. Luckily, my husband was sleeping, so it was easy to hide my amusement without him asking what I was laughing at. When we surprised him with the cake in the hospital, I told him the story and he thought it was hilarious. The cake was well made and DELICIOUS! I hope one day soon I get to meet these legendary owners and thank them. I know it was probably just miscommunication or an accident or something but I loved it. Definitely recommend.

Really disappointed was having a sweet tooth craving, walked in a got 4 mini cupcakes. I wasn’t able to even finish 2 of them the taste was awful. $7 for cupcakes I wasn’t even able to enjoy, grocery store cupcakes taste more fresh. Also did not feel welcome no greeting.

Felt like the lady was doing me a favor my taking my order.

Don’t recommend.
