Salvation Pizza Kitchen & Bar - Rainey St

Absolutely awful experience tonight. Came in Ordered 1 beer and 1 calzone to go and then asked 25 min later regarding our order.

5 more minutes, 5 more minutes. Several people were after us and served before.

Asked again to another hostess, wasn't received very well said the OWNER would refund my money and we needed to leave immediately.

I said we already had a closed ticket and weren't refunded and also had no food.

Left with 1 calzone 1.5 hours later and didn't trust they didn't spit in the food.

Terrible staff. Watch your cameras Salvation owners.

Paid 11 bucks for garlic bread got legit 2 small half slices of bread with nothing on it wrapped in tin foil. Pizza didn't have extra cheese. Mozzarella sticks were burnt. Spaghetti and meatballs barely had sauce. I'll never go here again. Garbage for the price.

Staff throughout is rude. Just because there "short staffed" doesn't mean you have to be rude. The bartender was a complete "B word" in capitol letters. I will never be back again. Go to home slice way better pizza, and people actually respect you there and treat you like a human Being. And you won't have to worry about getting your drink spiked on rainy st. The Staff ruined my experience.

THIS SPOT HEREEEE!!! Enjoyed every minute watching the game, they took such care of us at a spot I definitely did not expect it at. The owners are phenomenal and the food is beyond delish!!!
Had beer on tap wings mozzarella balls and amazing pepperoni n Italian sausage pizza ?? this is my spot PERIOD!

Don't go! Unless you want to get treated poorly and pay too much. Not that I would know, the server's attitude caused me to go elsewhere before I even ordered. Fire her, she doesn't want to work there anyways...... Maybe that's a bit harsh and she was just having a bad night but from the other bad reviews that's not likely

A very good pizza. It was just what we needed after ACL and a quick run down Rainey street. We stopped in and had a large pizza with micheladas... Great stop.

Initially I ordered Spinach Salvation Rolls but was told that they are only serving pizza after 12 midnight, so I asked for two slices of cheese pizza. The pizza was nasty and dry. I won’t ever order pizza from there again.

I'll save you the eye roll from the waitress, here's the happy hour menu, which I only saw after waiting a long time for my food order.

While the ppl that work the kitchen are fantastic, the front staff seems really overwhelmed and stressed out. Maybe they were having a bad day, even it was not busy at all.

Honestly super sad writing this because this used to be my favorite pizza place to go to. If you are thinking of going here think AGAIN. Based on the reviews this seems to be an on going issue. But the lady named Candice up front we walk in sit down and order drinks my partner asks is there a chance we can change the channel on the tvs? Her remark was "is there a chance you can wait a min" very passive aggressive didn't sit right with us so when she asked if I wanted cinnamon on my drink I informed no we are going to pass on the drinks she said okay. Mind you we never saw her pour drinks or hand us our drinks we are sitting right at the bar. so I asked about my card on file she confirmed she was going to cancel it out I said cool thanks we leave. I later checked my card and she charged me for a drink she claimed she poured and charged the other person we were with as well. We come back to talk about the charges she sees us already is aggressive right off the bat and we were asking about the charges she said yeah you guys walked out so you were charged I took one drink off since it wasn't poured. She then prints out receipts one shows zero the other shows 10 bucks. Our banks show differently which we explained Okay cool well since you charged our cards can we get the drink we paid for she said no you can pay for another. Of course at this point we are beginning to get frustrated as she STILL has so much attitude and then she walks away telling other customers we are mad because they got charged for walking out. Honestly so crazy she basically just stole money. She was very immature and shocking that an establishment has this person working for them. I will be disputing this transaction. Rude staff definitely pushes customers away. Save yourself from poor service. The owner seems to not care since this has been happening for months just look at the reviews.
