Great Pizza and Service. You can tell they use good ingredients; i loved the pepperoni cups. This costed at around $26 pretax.

I ate this a while back, but forgot to leave a review, but i believe the picture tagged below is a classic pizza with added pepperoni.

A slice of New York in Austin. Authentic delicious pizza- the way pizza should be, thin crust and delicious. Friendly staff, and a casual atmosphere.

Expected a lot from the photos and social media hype. But was a little disappointed. The pizza was pretty good and large, new york style. But didn't have any fresh basil or parmesan etc as advertised. Only on asking after did we find out they had run out. And for $30± pizza I would expect better. I did like the way they offered a delivery driver a free slice.
Atmosphere nice, even with a little rain. I liked the way that the wine place next door matches wines for their pizzas if you want. Also the taco place on site also looked pretty good so on the whole not a bad place to go, especially with a group. We probably just caught an off day, but this was my experience.

We are staying in Austin for the weekend and heard about this place online. The pizza was excellent. Really thin and crispy crust.

Sammataro used to be great. Crisp. Charred. High quality. Now it’s floppy slop that you could get anywhere. Very disappointing.

The pizza was great, no questions.
But definitely on the pricey side, especially when compared to other wood-burning pizzas in Austin.

Dave Portnoy gave it a 7.9 and later revised it to 8.1. We ordered the vodka pizza and rated it a 7.7, also a high score. Very good pizza and some of the best you’ll find in Austin. They make it in a wood-fired oven in their food truck and it takes about 25min.

The cheese, sauce, and undercarriage were excellent. I just wish the crust was more airy and crispy.

The homemade ranch was some of the best I’ve ever had.

Took my grandson there for pizza. Didn't know it was expensive 😕. Wish they would sale slices. I didn't eat the pizza so I don't know about the taste, but my grandson that is 7 said it was good.

I like thin pizza but this is like paper thin. Not worth the money and was a little past charred and more on the burnt side. The flavor was alright.

Such delicious pizza! No slices - whole pie only.

They have air conditioned seating too. I would skip on drinks & bring your own - not reasonably priced

Great pizza, just wish we would have brought bug spray! That’d be a nice thing to provide to customers ❤️
