Caution to All - "Extra Tip" Scam:
Waitress scammed me on my credit card bill by increasing MY INITIAL TIP by 20% MORE, as she designated our PARTY of actually 4 people as a "LARGE PARTY" on the final bill. I was NOT advised of the LARGE PARTY CHARGE and discovered it later.
Establishment ignored my complaint, and it WAS my fav restaurant.
Under the new ownership since this past summer, this local favorite spot is reclaiming its charm and developing it's own new and unique style by revamping the menu, redecorating the interior and bringing back live music! ;) I find myself just stopping by in the afternoon because it is always a super welcoming vibe, the food is amazing and the staff is very generous and attentive. 🤘 5/5 stars

Satellite ATX Restaurant & Bar is a nice neighborhood spot with daily specials. The food and happy hour drinks impress, with delicious options like the Mediterranean Bowl with added shrimp, the burger, and the lettuce wraps. The salmon is a go-to, complemented by the best beurre blanc sauce, and the steak is cooked perfectly to your liking. The saganaki cheese is absolutely amazing, though the penne pasta can be too fatty. The dinner menu choices can be very limited, with maybe 4 items not including a few “handhelds,” and the fried shrimp dinner is no longer on the menu. Drinks like margaritas on the rocks are okay, but the frozen margarita machine has been broken. The service is terrific, with attentive staff like Halli and Jordan, and the owners check on guests. The outdoor seating is perfect, with shaded areas and fans. There is a large kids menu and outdoor activities on the porch like corn hole, jenga, and connect four. Plenty of parking and a friendly staff complete the experience.
