Honestly, the best and most interesting drinks I have had in Texas. Menu is understated, but flavors are both perfectly balanced and novel at the same time. Steveie is a consummate professional, really knows his stuff and is an absolute delight to talk craft with.

All these reviews raving about the atmosphere are clearly paid or friends of the owner. As far as downtown cocktail lounges go… this is a dump. The decor is disjointed, it reeks of stale beer/Irish pub odor, and they play the music so loud you can’t even hear yourself think, let alone converse with other people. To top it off, the “craft” cocktails are just over priced basic drinks with weird twists that don’t make sense. Avoid.

Stopped in because the lights were on and the door was open… not to be confused with opened, smarty pants.My fiancé and I were doing our engagement photoshoot this evening and we stopped in because we wanted to shoot a quick shot at a Congress bar with great lighting which our phenomenal and highly in-demand photographer suggested Saturn was ‘the’ perfect spot upon walking by.I came in contact with who I can only assume was the owner judging by his $8K Cartier watch (not judging him for this, I know watches) and given that he was the only occupant in the bar prior to us walking in the OPEN door. I asked if we could buy a couple drinks for an engagement photo, complimented him on his bar (and his watch)— he proceeded to talk to us as if we were complete degenerate morons, told us the best thing to do is google the hours, can’t just have people walking in, and the door wasn’t open but unlocked and to leave. We were all taken aback.Hey smart bar owner business guy, perhaps you don’t need the hundreds my fiancé and I spend downtown, specifically Congress St, every weekend. Perhaps you don’t need the magnitude of business our photographer could bring to your establishment by simply showing a good attitude. Our photographer by the way primarily shoots downtown around Congress for couples who, dare I say, make a pretty healthy living and who can afford his stellar product.It costs nothing to be nice, but potentially costs thousands to be an a-hole. Good luck with your bar- if you can’t get a grip on your arrogance, you will need more than luck.

This place is so groovy and fun and my new favorite bar find in Downtown Austin! When you want to go out Downtown, but don’t want to face the craziness of Dirty 6th - Saturn is your place!! It was quiet for a Saturday night probably because of the cold snap coming, but the drinks are so unique, the decor is eclectic, and they even have a photobooth! I’ll def be coming back. The Love’s a Parade drink was heavenly.

Whether you’d like a cute date night with a cocktail or forget your daily troubles. This is that bar for Us!! LolAlso, the Owner is dope & quite frankly, kinda hot ?
