Went here for NYE and had a good time with the girlfriend. The food was great and the place looked very nice and everyone was very friendly. Only removed one star because some of the food took forever.

I really wanted to like Serenade. My partner and I went a few months after they opened and the food was decent and service was fine, so we booked again for next Friday before a show at ACL Live. Unfortunately, the experience fell apart before we even got back through the door.
My friend received a voicemail letting us know our reservation had been canceled to accommodate a much larger party. As someone who works in hospitality, I understand these situations happen. What I don’t understand is the complete lack of effort to make it right. No alternative options, no help securing another reservation, no gesture to invite us back — nothing.
That’s the part that tells you everything. A restaurant at this level should know the basics of taking care of guests, even when the answer has to be ‘no.’
Thankfully North Italia down the street swooped in last minute (as they always do). Last time I was there before a show, the manager even made blue cheese olives for my martini from scratch in the kitchen. That’s hospitality. That’s how you build regulars.
Serenade has potential, but with service decisions like this, we won’t be returning.

Not worth the price. It’s a total rip off.

DO NOT COME HERE. Fries came out and were extremely stale — it was hot around the edges and cold in the middle and tasted undercooked. We had to ask multiple times for water (even though it wasn’t even busy). Burger was mid, steak very tiny and over-priced for quality. Mussels were decent, but broth incredibly
After asking if they had a birthday cake for our friend’s birthday (which they said yes), they forgot to mention that it wasn’t complementary. Overall, worst fine-dining experience I’ve had.

Great service. Food is unexpectedly good for a hotel restaurant. We stopped in before an ACL live show next door to get the 15% discount. We would do it again. The interior design was very beautiful. Cool vibes with a furry wall!

This was our first time dining at Serende, chosen for its proximity to the Deep in the Heart benefit concert at ACL Live at the Moody Theater, and the advertised perks—15% off with our concert tickets and validated valet parking. As three friends visiting from Waco for a girls’ night out, we were excited to enjoy a relaxing meal before the show.
The ambiance was stunning, and the frites were absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and a highlight of the meal. We all opted for burgers, as the only steak option was a 12 oz. cut, which felt too large for our appetites. Two burgers came on brioche buns that unfortunately weren’t fresh and crumbled easily, while mine was served over greens. We added bacon, avocado, and egg, and while the flavor was promising, all three burgers were undercooked. With the concert starting soon, we didn’t have time to send them back, so we ate around them.
The margaritas were good, though we weren’t asked about our tequila preference on the first round—something we corrected the second time. Service was friendly, but checkout was a bit chaotic. Our server had to redo our tickets to apply the concert discount, and when retrieving our car, we were told we’d exceeded the three-hour valet limit and would be charged extra. Our valet ticket hadn’t been stamped, and I had to show receipts and messages confirming full validation.
Serende is a beautiful restaurant in a prime location, and we appreciated the partnership with the benefit concert. With a few tweaks to service consistency and communication, it could be a truly seamless experience. We hope to return again—with more time and fewer hiccups.

What a waste of a nice space. Terribly awful service. Mediocre food.
W e attended in a group of six. The waitress would come by every 20ish min. She forgot at least 6 different items throughout the dinner. We had to request our drinks multiple times.
The cold appetizers came out. Some were good like the beef tartare, some bland and boring like the endive salad.
Everything was expensive as expected at the W Hotel. That’s fine if it included quality and service.
Aperol Spritz was $18, watered down, and arrived 25 min after ordered.
After we paid I considered talking to the manager to provide polite feedback. No manager could be found. I didn’t care enough to go into the hotel looking for a manager. The lack of leadership was palpable. I got to give props to the food runner who was trying his best in a disorganized system with non-chalant coworkers

Overall great experience! The drinks were delicious and the main course was exceptional. The duck confit was amazing it was so rich and even the veggies were well seasoned and vinegary. The service seemed a bit discombobulated but Tad took great care of us and stepped up to ensure we had a good experience. Also once the food came out, it was piping hot the fries or frites were so hot they singed my fingers but were so good. It's also beautiful inside the restaurant and Tad was sure to tell us about the design and the history of this new place. I can't wait to see how this new restaurant grows with time.

Love the atmosphere here! We had brunch on Sunday and staff are excellent
Father’s Day Brunch was outstanding, I had the brisket and Honey had breakfast. The entire staff was very attentive and welcoming. We felt like royalty. Our waiter Sumit was amazing, suggested just the right desert to top off a great morning.
