we were at the hwy 290 location in Austin I found my new favorite restaurant! Our server (James) was outstanding, the food was fabulous and the chips & salsa was so good the 6 of us each ate a basket of chips and had several refills on salsa! The Enchiladas were so flavorful with the fire roasted Verde sauce.....highly recommend

Had fajitas at Serranos twice in three days. Truthfully, I would not turn them down twice in one day! The staff is very nice. I prefer this location over South Park Meadows by a very slight margin, though food is excellent at both!

Family and I went here for lunch after trying so many Mexican restaurants in town I gotta say this one blows other spots out of the water!

Outstanding customer service, from the hostess to our server, the attention and assistance the guest receives is outstanding (Our server James was absolutely amazing?!); the food and creativity of drinks itself, Serranos is an absolute must try in the area; what a great experience we had, I would hands-down recommend to anyone looking for actual Mexican flavors and levels of spice.

This Serranos has been a favorite of our family for many years and is arguably the best Mexican restaurant we've ever been to. The salsa is very fresh and exceptionally flavorful. Every dish we've had has been consistently excellent from the appetizers to the main courses, but the Pollo Perfecto is definitely a standout. Highly recommended and hope to keep coming back for many years to come.

Came here for good Mexican, and this place had good star reviews. Got in, seated, then sat there for over 10 minutes waiting for someone to get us water or take an order. The servers just looked at us and walked away. Would not come here again

This place recently got renovated and now has this very lively atmosphere to it.

Food is fantastic and came out so fast. Everything was well cooked and tasted great.

If you haven't visited, I implore you to go, for those who have frequented, keep coming here, it's amazing.

Corporate TexMex restaurant. The service here is very hit or miss. It appears to be clean.

The staff here sometimes behaves unprofessionally (banter that a customer should never hear)

My Mom likes this spot that's the only reason I go here with any sort of frequency . On my own I go here about once a year for the Fajitas.

Since I moved to Texas this has been the single best Tex-Mex experience I have had. We unknowingly came in on what turned out to be the first day of their soft open after a remodel. I was a little concerned at first because the front looked like it was going to be pricier than what the website said, but by god they have stuck to their guns and kept the prices low, especially for the portions they give you. I got the combo fajitas with added mojo shrimp. My God. Tender, succulent, juicy shrimp beef and chicken. It was absolutely mind blowingly incredible. The service was prompt and the staff was all so very sweet. And the new decor is comfortable, welcoming, and cool. Giving five stars because 100 isn't an option. Highly recommend this location!
