Sadly, Shady Grove has permanently closed its doors on May 11, 2020. Here is the statement from the owner on their website: Shady Grove is now closed. I am sad to announce that Shady Grove on Barton Springs Road will shut its doors permanently today May 11, 2020. I have been to Shady Grove every time I get to travel to the Austin area. I have been there about 10 times and the food and the service are excellent. My wife and I have been there for our anniversary dinner multiple times and we both love it.
