Rude drive thru lady- on her phone while taking orders and refuses to tell you what cake donuts are available when there is zero signage stating so. Complete inconvenience for her.

I’ve been going to this Shipley’s for at least a few months and it’s always been great. Everyone is kind, both customers and employees, the food is good, and I’ve kept coming back.
Unfortunately, I had a slightly off experience today. The person on the drive thru window said very little to me, which is fine on its own, I don’t expect getting food to be a social visit. However, I noticed she was sniffling and scratching her nose, which should have been a red flag for someone handling my food, but I’ve never had an experience like that here, so I didn’t want to assume anything. Then, after she ran my card, she silently handed me the receipt and a pen, and after I filled it out, she didn’t come back to the window, and I was just hanging onto this receipt for a few minutes. I thanked her when she gave me my food, and again, silence, which at this point felt more uncomfortable than anything. Maybe it was just an off day for her, but maybe she was sick and decided to come in? Stuff happens, but I left feeling like I’d done something wrong with the tone of the overall interaction. I might be holding off on coming back for a bit because I just don’t want to have the potential for another uncomfortable interaction like that at an otherwise upbeat place.
This Shipley’s on Brodie is the best location by far. I came once early morning and got the $6 combo. Then wanted to go back and went to the William Cannon location on accident and that was a big mistake. Shipley’s on Brodie is AmAzInG!!!
Should open at 5am like other locations
Go to the Shipley on William cannon instead. The lady at the window was very rude. When it was time to pay they kept my card so long that I thought they forgot to give it back. My church gets food here for Sunday school breakfast, but now we will be going elsewhere.

Normally pretty good, I go about once a week, but when I went this morning to get their $6 deal I got charged full price. When I asked why I didn't get the combo price even though I got the combo items the lady at the window just said "oh you have to tell us you're getting the combo" and just walked away. I mean, I thought that me ordering the things included in the combo would be a pretty big clue.
It was just a couple of dollars difference, but the lady was just really dismissive and didn't try to fix anything when it was obviously her mistake. She didn't even bother to confirm a total before she handed me the receipt to sign, so I didn't even have a chance to correct her or say anything until my card had already been overcharged.
I tried seven different donuts. The blueberry cake was okay, the best of the bunch, and was the only one I took more than one bite out of. The batter is eggy with a mealy consistency. The icings didn't taste like their supposed flavor and were just more sugar. The fillings are bad, and the "cream" filling is neither custard nor whipped, as would be expected, but is basically just more icing. The filled donuts also have too much filling and it's all concentrated in the center. I can't believe a local spot that's been around for this long could make donuts that I end up throwing away. These are below premade level and I really hope they receive this feedback and change their method. Or perhaps everyone else loves this execution and , if so, I love to see a local business succeeding. I'll just go elsewhere.

Ordered a half dozen variety. Most of the donuts tasted stale and only one tasted like it was baked same day.

Agree with recent reviews, came yesterday morning to grumpy workers, not even a Hi, how are you or anything so I was looking today to see if it was just me but apparently NOT! You can do better, let the unpleasant workers go and make it more family friendly and we'll, happier? Donuts are always sub par anyways but since KC Donuts isnt open yet we succumbed to this grocery store like donut. Won't be back!
