Delicious home style burgers, reminiscent of Burger Time burgers. Chicken tenders are very good. Service is good, fries are like a better version of McDonald's fries. My son doesn't like burgers and he loves these. There are no kids meals (I shared with my son). The benches outside need better lighting and pest control as there's ants. Will revisit when in town again.

I just came and do my order at short stop 2217 E th st Austin Tx 78702 and when I look at the back of the shelf, they don’t even pull hand glove on while making my order and then I asked the lady what is your name she said her name is Lola and I asked her your don’t pull glove on she say we don’t put glove on I don’t like this food. I need my refund back.

The fries are airy and crispy, salted perfectly. The chili is delicious. If you get the chili cheese hotdog, however, the to-go packet might touch all the cheese and a good amount of chili so you’ll be left with no cheese- just speaking from experience. The double burger is mid. The service is good. The parking lot does not have enough space so you cannot realistically park your car and eat there especially if there is another car at the parking lot.

5 star!!! The tea was a bit over steeped, but let me tell you... I'd use the slightly bitter tea to wash down that AMAZING burger any day. Seriously, the best burger I've had in a long time. Fries were fresh. Price was right. Fast service.

First time at Short Stop in Austin! We always ask the locals whenever we travel where are the best places to eat. We wanted a simple, to go burger (drive up only). What we got was one of the best damn burgers we ever ate. Simple and yummy, just like a Feast Burger from back home, fries were perfect, the prices were on point also🫶🍔🍟 check it out peeps🤎🤘

Incredible customer service and courteousness. Everybody at this location is friendly and has a big smile from the window all the way to the cooks. Food came out fast was hot and fresh and exactly what I've come to expect from shortstop. Nothing short of a great experience at this location!
