pulled up to multiple locations several times just for them to not be at any nor answer the phone. they then said they'd be open today from 12-8, pulled up at 12:50pm and they're saying they're not opening until 3pm. lies and lack of transparency and then when i mentioned this to the manager/owner, they accused me of "always having a complaint". BS & terrible terrible customer service

This truck is outstanding. Get the stuffed catfish plate, you won't be disappointed. The fried catfish, the boudin, and the mac and cheese make for a heavenly explosion of flavor! The wings (I got the hot honey) left a bit to be desired, though, so I can only give 4 stars.

The food was very good. It had a little bit of home in every bite. Not only is management cool and personable the food puts you into a good food coma afterwards lol. Excellent service to say the least. I would recommend and say it here first this will be a stake in the culture here in Austin and on its way to becoming a city hidden gem

So this place was recommended by a friend. When I got to the spot there was no menu. There was no QR code To even scan. I had a hard time finding a menu. When I did find one it was not accurate. Meal was about 2-3 dollars extra. Everything was made to order so the food was fresh ! I ordered the 1 fillet and fries and my wife got the hot honey wings and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese could have been better. I couldn't put my finger On it but it was sweet. Not everyone likes spice but my wife definitely wanted a bit more on the wings. I was a bit disappointed in the fries. The pictures I seen were waffle fries mine looked nothing like the picture. The fish was well breaded and lemony I loved the fish!

So this place was confusing to find without any signs on the food truck/trailer. We had to call to make sure it was even open. But once we found it was open it was smooth sailing there. The guy working solo made sure everything we had was on point and he didn't disappoint us. Food was really good. The wings are awesome. I'm going back for more. The loaded fries were ok.

I decided to treat myself and oh man was it worth it. The catfish and mac and cheese were AMAZING!!!! The best I've ever had I think. It was so filling too, I could only finish 1/4 of the filets, and I'm so excited for my leftovers. ?

This is one of the worst customer service experiences i’ve ever had. Me and my friend ordered just wings/fries/mac and cheese off of doordash and it took them 1 and a half hours to make the order. Mind you, there was no line bc our doordash driver had sent a picture to show that the place was not busy(also we had about 3 different dashers bc they were taking so long). After we received the picture, I called very frustrated and they did not answer until the 5th time. The person who picked up (Courtland, who I believe is the owner) was very rude and did not at all apologize for the wait. I had asked to cancel and for a refund and he told us to do it through doordash although doordash told us to check in with the restaurant first. After being on the phone for about 3 minutes, he rudely told us that our order was “gone” and that he just gave it to the dasher. I’m sure he did this bc he did not want to give us a refund. So after around 1 hour and 45 minutes the food arrived and was VERY underwhelming. The only good thing was the mac and cheese. I am very disappointed at not only the food, but the customer service as my friend and I were very excited to support one of the rare black-owned businesses in Austin. Will never be back.

I don't think I've written a review all month but after trying Sipp's I ran as fast as I could to review. Saw this place on tiktok! We ordered the same day. We got the stuffed catfish with dirty rice and Mac & cheese, 12 wings, and steak tacos. They were out of the tacos but it was so much food we probably wouldn't have gotten to them anyway. Please believe me when I say these are the BEST wings in the city. SO flavorful and even after the 20 min drive home, they were still crunchy!!! The catfish was incredibly well seasoned and the Mac & cheese was rich, flavorful, and just the most perfect Mac there is in my book. Kind of happy we missed out on the tacos because now we have an excuse to order again. Sipps doesn't mess around when it comes to their food. I've never had this flavorful of a meal in a LONG time. Follow them on Instagram and run to their truck right now.
