I couldn't get enough of this place!! I went twice during my stay in Austin. I'm not a pancake person but these were the most amazing pancakes I have EVER tasted!!! Service was outstanding.

Really enjoyed the Banana Bliss Vegan Pancake with maple syrup. I wasn’t a big fan of the tofu, it didn’t really have a taste. I also order hash browns and sautéed veggies. Good choice for brunch for vegan and non vegan people though!

Visited Snooze on South Lamar on 08/24/25 for brunch. I’m a regular and usually have great service, but this time was disappointing.
We waited about 1–2 hours, which is normal, but once seated, our server Jaret seemed off. He didn’t ask if we wanted to upgrade our toast to a pancake (which I had to mention myself), and he swapped our hash browns for the flat/crispy kind without asking — something I never order. He later said it was because he didn’t like how the originals came out, but I would’ve preferred to decide that myself.
The biggest issue: when food was dropped off, it was slammed down, which knocked over my friend’s screwdriver — it spilled all over his food. Jaret saw it happen but didn’t offer to replace anything, just brought napkins after we asked.
I don’t think he should be fired, but he could use some coaching on how to handle situations like this. I love Snooze and will continue coming back — this just wasn’t the best visit.

Born and raised in New Mexico, I was excited to try the Green Chile burrito. Unfortunately the sauce was not Green Chile. It was weirdly sweet. I was expecting a true green chile with a bit of heat.
Maybe they can reach out to a seller in Hatch, NM to order so real green chile or offer mild, medium, or hot options.
Writing this in hopes Snooze can purchase real green chile and then you can consider me a repeat customer for the breakfast burrito!
As always snooze s Lamar delivers…

Great breakfast. Do yourself a favor and join the wait-list. There's a line a mile long and you'll wait for 90 minutes. They have a wait-list online though that you can join I and you'll be seated pretty quickly.

Absolutely love this place! It’s one of those places you actually get random cravings for. Haven’t had a meal here that wasn’t good! The staff is always pleasant and this last time visiting our waitress was just exceptional! Can’t wait to go back!
