I'm no stranger to Sonic burgers. I came to this location for the first time today... wow. Customer service was outstanding. Food was good as always but the customer service was unbelievable. Well done!

My server forgot to include my cheese sauce with my pretzel. The pretzel is advertised to come WITH the cheese sauce. It’s practically half of the snack and makes the meal. Every time I come here it’s either that or ranch forgotten.

Any sonic in Austin is a great area take your family for dinner or lunch or breakfast. Take a pic.Parking: The two locations in South Austin are easy in easy out locations close enough to an intersection where is easy to get to and far enough away where you don’t have to wait long to get back out on the roadKid-friendliness: They have quite a few selections for kids and the kids meals. All of those childhood favorites we used to get when we were kids.Wheelchair accessibility: As this is a drive-in, food source wheelchairs aren’t needed as you just sit in your car

It took about 45 minutes to get food for three, it wasn’t busy or anything but they just seemed understaffed. I noticed I was missing something and when I tried to point it out they gave me someone else’s food that they also forgot (?) but a couple minutes later we figured it out and traded (by the way if your name is Jorge and you ate here tonight I had your SS jalapeño burger for a while before they gave it to you, don’t worry though man it was in safe hands).Oh, here’s what some of the food looked like.

Not just the slowest Sonic I've ever been to, literally the slowest "fast" food location I've ever been to. It has been bad but tonight was the worst. Drove right up to the intercom with only 2 cars in front of me waiting at the window and very few cars at car-hop stations. After I ordered cheese sticks and a Sonic blast, we wait 15 minutes for the FIRST CAR in line to get their order and leave. Add another 11 minutes by the time we received our order! In total, 26 minutes to receive my order. I noticed one employee holding her cell phone up as if taking pictures or videos. I feel bad for the young man working the window having to apologize on behalf of the kitchen crew and figure out who got tired of waiting and left. Only reason we didn't leave was to not waste food. Will NEVER return to this location.

This is the absolute worst Sonic I've ever been to. The food is okay-ish, when you actually get the correct order. The service has really gone downhill the past several months. Twice in the past few weeks I've ordered a sugar free drink and pointed out that on the order screen, the regular add in was listed only to have the person working tell me "don't worry about it" when I pointed it out. There's also a girl who works there who is unbelievably rude when taking orders. I couldn't believe how she was speaking to people when I heard folks in nearby stalls ordering. Then she was really short and snippy and rude enough when I ordered tonight that I just left. I didn't even cancel my order; just left. Usually I got to this location because it's closest to me but from now on I'll be driving a little over to the one on Menchaca.
