This is great spot downtown in an area with limited food options! Very cool lobby, impressive drinks and lots of grab and go options for lunch. There's also plenty of seating and free wifi if you're looking for a place to work or have a meeting.

The staff at SouthBites is great! They're super friendly, make a great latte and are always playing good music in the morning. The banana bread there is seriously the best I've ever had and it's gluten-free. They also have a wide range of beverages for non-coffee drinkers too like matcha, chai and golden milk lattes.

I stopped in to Southbites this morning after recently learning that it was open. There's no sign up outside yet, but just head towards the main lobby and you'll find the coffee counter. As the SXSW lobby, the space is beautifully designed and feels more like a lounge than a coffee shop. There's plenty of seating, some couches, and lots of desktop space. It also seems like they'll have some patio seating, once the building construction is finished up. My almond milk latte was about $5, which seems fairly standard, and tasted just as standard; I'll be back to try the drip coffee. They also had a case of to-go snacks and drinks.

I love this place! Great selection of baked goods and grab and go lunch items. I really like the breakfast sandwich, Asian salad and bagels. Service is super fast and they have a rewards system that adds up quick. Great addition to the area!

Breakfast tacos aren't good. Tortilla on my taco that I got at about 8:30 am during the week felt like it had been sitting in a heat box for a few hours, I literally gagged because one whole side of the tortilla was sticky. Couldn't finish it.
