Great bartenders! When they were out of my friends favorite go to drink, they tried a few different things till she found something she liked! We named it the Spa Spritzer!

Came for a late night Sunday drink down the street from my hotel. Excellent drink selection and great staff and service. Enjoyed the Kona on tap! Sat inside as the a/c felt good!

Service is phenomenal. One of the bartenders helped me with my physical disability needs right away. Love the selection of light beers that they have. I will definitely be back when I return to ATX.

Exciting, spacious thirty year old bar with several rims indoor and outside at a major corner on west Sixth Street. They have bar seating in two different rooms with several tables and standing spots. The two different outside patios also have several tables.
Visa 313 pizza has a kitchen adjoining the restaurant with a service window opening into one bar room and another window opening to the sidewalk.
Star Bar has happy hour on weekday nights Monday through Thursday, 4pm-midnight with a combo of $2 Via 313 pizza slices (cheese or detroiter/pepperoni) and $2 Lonestar beers.
There is paid street parking on surrounding streets.

I went into star bar for the first time tonight. Maggie behind the bar was absolutely lovely. Talk about someone making a customer feel welcome. If you are ever in the area star bar is a must when maggie is working
We decided to give it a try since it is one block from our resort. It is a big place but usually empty. Now we know why. We walked in for happy hour about 4pm on June 11th. The bartender was rude from the beginning. Ordered two frozen margaritas and a draft domestic. She says in a rude way, “ are you sure you are not going to want anymore frozens because I have to walk all of the way to the back.” Okay? $12 for about 5oz of frozen margarita!! Went to tab out and she charged us $6 for domestic when Happy Hour price stated $3 on the sign out front. We asked her and she argued with us that it wasn’t for drafts but bottles and that it clearly stated that on the sign. We said, “ no it does not.” We asked her to come look but she refused while continuing to be so rude. The place is a dud!!
Very rude staff members. Do not recommend.
Had an incredible experience with the bartender, Angela! Not only was the drink selection top-notch, but the service was friendly, fast, and personalized. Truly made the evening unforgettable! P.S. this is a packers bar and Angela made us feel at home.
This was a great bar, their water even tasted great compared to other bars I’ve been to.

Walking distance from work, we decided to have a work get together there. Having a Via313 trailer in the back was so convenient. The drinks were great and everyone left happy and full
Bar staff was incredibly hospital and resourceful. Amazing music and great drinks!
If you’re a Packer fan in Austin, this place is a MUST on game day. Decent beer + Via313 pizza + Packer fans galore = solid place to watch the Packers win (even though they lost last time I was there but were just going to ignore that fact).

All it takes is one staff member to ruin a good bar.
I politely asked if the bartender would play Toby Keith - Courtesy of the Red White and blue,
Considering this is Texas and we love country music here, and Toby Keith died earlier this year. I didn’t think it was very much to ask.
A simple “No” would’ve been fine but rudely responding “ worst song of all time” is not how you talk to paying customers who keep a roof over your head.
If your management can hold this bartender accountable, then this one star review will go away. He was working the back bar last night.
