My wife and I have been here several times. Mainly during the ATX TV Festival that normally cooperates with the hotel and bar. The staff is fast and professional - could be a bit more courteous…but overall Tunis alright. The bar has a good vibe and it is nice that you can sit on the balcony. But while sitting on the balcony you observe things around you. And you notice the flags along the balcony. Some faded and broke. Why not fix those so it looks nice - and if not then out of respect for the meaning of the flag. But overall we had a good experience here.

Went there for a work social. Bar tenders were very friendly & helpful. The valet attendants were also very good. Valet was $20 for up to 4 hrs. Cocktails were good and atmosphere was great as well.

It's not the place I remember from when Intercontinental owned the hotel. Staff is great per the usual. But the menu is boring, no good food options like there used to be, and the patio needs shade or fans. It's useless in Texas summers.

Friendly bartenders, offered great local food options within walking distance when my friend and I asked about a more casual option than the hotel restaurant; Bar manager is incredibly knowledgeable and makes an excellent martini.
Drinks were strong and we could take them into the theatre! Gorgeous venue and you can easily see the stage from any seat. Stairs are steep and chairs are small but we didn't mind! This theatre is a historic must-see while in Austin!

Excellent service excellent drinks, and the coup de gras is the ability to smoke cigars on the terrace second floor overlooking Congress and 7th. We came here after dinner at Eddie V's. It was my wife's 50th birthday day. We really wanted to like it here, but unfortunately, the bartender here never got our drink orders right. The place was loud, and let's just say way too expensive for the service received. One and done for us. Liked the hotel itself, though.
