My son and I stopped by tonight, and I was honestly blown away. I’m not usually a cake person, but their marble cake completely won me over. The frosting on both the cake and cupcakes was just right—not overly sweet, but rich and delicious. The lemon poppy cupcake was also phenomenal. On top of the amazing desserts, the woman behind the counter was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for fresh, homemade-tasting treats. Definitely a new favorite for us!

We bought a large carrot cake for a graduation celebration. It was incredible. To say the least, it didn’t last long, and we’re going back for more for a birthday.

Awesome place, staff, and cake.

I LOVE SusieCakes, but the lack of AC is unacceptable. I went in there to get some of my favorite treats for me and my family and it was absolutely miserable to be inside. It was at least 85 to 90° in the building. The workers, who were still very kind, were dripping with sweat. I know every business cares about the bottom dollar, but seriously come on, close down for a day and fix the AC.

The Lemon cake is unreal awesome! Just the perfect balance between savory and lemon very well done! The staff was very friendly. helpful and the place has a really cool vibe.. the only thing that could be negative about it is the selection is too large to pick just one thing…. Not really a negative it’s a great place..

The cupcakes were AMAZING. My husband had the gluten free cupcake and raved about for days. The place was lovely and the staff was super friendly. Definitely a must if in Austin.

Absolutely love SusieCakes! A slice of chocolate cake is enough for at least 2 people. The frosting is perfect, not too sweet but sweet enough! The cake itself is moist. Sorry I waited so long to come and try this out. Definitely ordering all my cakes from Susie’s.

Dangerously addictive. These cakes are the real deal. Baked fresh, using fresh ingredients, and boy oh boy are they delicious. If my cardiologist would sign off on it, I think I'd eat SusieCakes for a meal at least once a day.

Quick service, lacking customer service. Called to add a gift note. They have no way to contact you regarding personalized requests. I emailed them many times with the note, driver never called to confirm or confirmed the note with the gift. $14 tip was worthless.

I was looking for a blue-ish cake for my son’s one month mark. I was looking at some other bakeries as well and since this was last minute I didn’t place any order and couldn’t find a blue cake. Glad I got this cake at Susie’s! This was a vanilla cake. The staff were really good at describing different cakes they had and they decorated the cake as per our request. They do also provide information on hoy to store the cake if you aren’t eating it immediately. Everyone really liked it, it was very moist, not too sugary

We used SusieCakes for our wedding and they delivered a perfect cake. We wanted a vintage cutting cake and not only was it gorgeous, it was also delicious. There was absolutely none left at the wedding and multiple people asked where we got the cake from! We are big fans of SusieCakes!

I never write reviews without being asked, but I’m so impressed with my experience that I have to share. It was the week of Thanksgiving, and I needed to still find a “fun” cake for my son’s birthday after Thanksgiving. Susie’s allowed for an online order for a custom cake to be ready the upcoming Sunday. Other bakeries were blocked off or didn’t have an efficient/easy ordering experience. (In the future Susie’s will be my first choice! I just didn’t know about them yet.) We got the Rainbow Sprinkle Cake, 9” with chocolate layers inside. It was chocolate cake with 6 chocolate buttercream layers in between. It allowed me to personalize the top for my son’s birthday. (The writing was written with white icing on top of the sprinkles, so don’t make it too wordy. I kept it to three words and it looked great.) In retrospect, for our party of about 20 people, we should’ve gone with the smaller 6” cake because it’s still a LOT of cake! Every slice you can basically turn into two slices because of the height of the cake. Everyone was so amazed by the cake with how it looked AND tasted. I couldn’t wait to sneak another slice the next day! Thanks, SusieCakes, for helping make my son’s birthday so memorable!

Love, love, love.

The cake is delicious and the frosting, PERFECT! I loved the multiple-layer cake style. A wonderful selection of flavors to take home single slices. Whole cakes are available for same day purchase, too. Also, cupcakes.

Their peanut butter sandwich cookie is my current Favorite Cookie of All Time. It is filled with a peanut butter frosting that is pure magic!

I was greeted with a warm smile and helpful suggestions when I asked. The shop is light and bright. The parking lot is terrifyingly full of children and SUVs due to the neighboring swim and dance studios, so I will definitely be trying their recently opened location just west of downtown ?.
