Saffron South offers authentic Indian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant serves delicious and fresh dishes, with lots of terrific options on the menu, something for everyone. Takeout options are also available. Particularly like the Chicken Korma, Mixed Grill and Goat Curry. Good vegetarian options are available here. Jalapeño Naan, Nargeshi Malai Kofta, and Kurkuri Bhindi are highly recommended. Saffron Scallops are perfectly cooked in a buttery saffron sauce. This place is one of the premier hotspots for great Indian food in the Austin area. Customers enjoy the flavorful food and great service. The restaurant also has a good selection of international and domestic beverages, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, making it a great place to bring the family. The Pompfret fish is cooked to perfection with the right amount of spices, and the Momos are also highly recommended. The prompt and friendly service from the staff, like Sreeja, is impressive.
