They will cancel your reservation and hardly communicate with you.
First of all, the people here are extremely difficult to get a hold of if you are trying to make a reservation for a large party (more than 8 people). Almost a week after initially contacting them for a reservation, they finally confirmed our table… great.. HOWEVER one day before our reservation, we got a message from the restaurant saying they had to cancel our reservation. Why did they have to cancel? Because they “didn’t realize” our reservation was for 16 people, and they had a private event booked for that day. They hardly gave an apology and gave ZERO accommodations besides recommending that we reserve a time at their other restaurant in the hotel. This situation wouldn’t have been as annoying if they had better communication skills. The fact that it took nearly a week to confirm a reservation just for it to be canceled the DAY BEFORE is so extremely frustrating and unprofessional…
Terrible service. Waited forever to be seated and acknowledged. People after us got served our food
Food was ok, drinks weren't great. Likely the most unimpressive espresso martini in Austin. Service was painfully slow upon arrival just to get seated (even with reservation) and throughout our waitress was polite but way too slow. Over priced for the value you get here . Would not recommend nor return.
When I made reservations I thought I was gonna be late but I went inside and no one was here except 4 people how ridiculous I even called for an hour straight worst place to go if u want great service never even got to try the food or drinks how lazy

Very cute Barbie
Walked in at lunch time on a Saturday and the place was empty. Staff was rude, tables were filthy, so we left before even ordering.

The drinks were not good, the food was terrible, and our waitress was non attentive to say the least. We had to ask for napkins and silverware. I ordered fish tacos and the fish tasted old and fishy, and the slaw tasted soured. It was a Saturday night and we were one of two tables that were occupied. It's a very cool vibe, but if they don't get better bartenders and cooks and weight staff, it will not make it. We were very disappointed.
I booked a reservation for a party of 20 to celebrate my daughter’s birthday here. Less than a week out, the restaurant got bought out for a corporate event and canceled on us with abysmal communication. The manager did not even have the decency to pick up the phone and notify us- he unprofessionally, simply sent a message on opentable. Who check those regularly anyway?!
This is the absolute WORST customer service and the most shocking lack of managerial professionalism I have ever encountered. DO NOT book any event here as they obviously could care less about their clientele. So disappointed.

Decor is 1000/10. I loved everything about how it looked. I had made a reservation on Openable, which upon arrival seemed really unnecessary. As we entered we asked if we could sit by the food area and were informed that they had no servers so it would be best to order at the bar and they would bring it to us. The bartender was friendly and gave us drink recommendations. I ended up ordering the Kyoto Strawberry Crush which was delicious! For our meal, my friend and I shared a pepperoni pizza and fries. The fries were nice and well seasoned. The pizza even though it looked amazing, was just okay. I didn't love the texture of the crust and to me it lacked flavor. After dinner we explored all areas of swim club, and took advantage of the photo booth. Overall I would return and maybe try something different. Swim club is a vibe!
this place has all the potential to be an awesome restaurant but the service is absolutely awful. I had a reservation but when i showed up no one greeted us and we wandered until we decided to just sit at the bar because no one told us where to sit. The service at the bar was fine but overall was very disappointing.

This cute pool themed bar is part of the Downright hotel (formerly the Sheraton). When they did the renovations, they turned the indoor pool into a seating area for the restaurant. The decor is pink and turquoise and disco balls. The menu is small with tacos, sandwiches, pizzas and a few other things. My chicken club sandwich was great, and the fries were delicious. They have fun drinks on the menu, and mine was really good. It’s an easy walk to Moody Amphitheater. Check it out!

I made a reservation to celebrate my birthday, upon my arrival I was told that the whole place was now reserved for a private event. There was no prior communication about this and we were told that we had to leave. This was very disrespectful and disappointing.
Chris @ The Terrace is the best! If you can find it, (I challenge you to!), definitely look for him. Great espresso martinis and intimate conversation~. ☕️🌹
