Holy smokes! That might have been one of the worst customer service experiences in my lifetime. The girl working the drive through at the research blvd. Location was so mean! She dropped my debit card on the ground and didn’t apologize. She just slammed the window shut. After waiting quite a while for my food, she handed it to me and slammed the window shut without saying anything. So weird how she could be so mean without any reason. I think she’s in the wrong line of work. Maybe she’d do better at the DMV or some other municipal office where this behavior is the norm. This happened in March 17, around 3:20 pm.

I’ve been a loyal customer at this location since 2012. I must say, the service has gone down downhill since Covid. The hours open late at night for the drive-through have improved so that’s good. But the service I endured today March 1, 2025, was horrendous at the drive-through. I waited for almost 6 minutes before someone even said I’ll be right with you. Then it took about 15 to 20 minutes to even get three breakfast tacos. There appeared to be maybe three people working behind the counter that I could see through the window. Then when I asked for extra salsa and I looked in my bag and there was only three, I asked for six. The lady working in the drive-through window told me that it was an inconvenience for her because she had to personally make the containers with salsa… Unbelievable. I didn’t realize pouring salsa into a little container was such a hard thing to do? Those were the three strikes in one visit -not a good thing for your restaurant. And I’m not sure I will be back again.

I know this is an automated system that reads all reviews and apologizes for any bad experiences. Dont apologize, That doesn't fix anything. For all people that are reading this, Stop going there.. Food is Bad, Service is even worse, Breakfast Tacos are (Cold) Come on people, How hard is this to heat up the food ? Drive Thru Window The employee is completely lost, asking you What did you order ? This only shows they are not organized. This is what happens when you don't stay in school.. We will never stop there again and hope Word will spread about this experience to many.

Food is typical Taco Cabana. I think it's descent, but it is fast food. That being said, the food is good here, but the service is very wanting. This is the nicest way I can say it.

Not one of my better visits. My enchiladas were so tough (both the tortilla and the cheese) that I could barely cut them. I thought about asking for a replacement, but typically this means a bad batch in the kitchen.

Half the taps on the soda machine sputtered or didn't work.

Chopped cilantro, diced onions, and lemon and lime wedges are apparently permanent casualties of Covid. They have not returned to the condiments bar at any of the TC restaurants I visit. There's no obvious reason other than TC using the opportunity to cut costs.

Time was when TC was a little bit special; it had an indefinable atmosphere that made it a little nicer than similar restaurants. That's long gone. Now it's just a place for an inexpensive meal of variable quality.

Ordered the steak fajita breakfast. Terrible, the beans were watery, the potatoes were cold and not cooked enough( almost inedible),the eggs tasted like cleansing chemical(I overheard the manager say therr was going to be an inspection), the tortillas were cold. This was my old neighborhood 5 years ago. The manager is the same. They made an assistant out of a magrant who loud. The 8 foot fountain which hasn't been working for 5 years still hasn't been removed and it look terrible. The dumpster blocks the entrance. There is broken glass and trash in the parking lot. The restroom stinks just like it did 5 years ago. I strongly suggest not going there in the morning. This place should be closed

This taco cabana is located by the goof courses. Sushi houses. And much more. You can often get stuck in the drive thru if the wait is too long. Which sometimes they do in my experience. I love their quesadillas. Sometimes I ask for extra sour cream or guacamole and they forget. They seem to rotate workers frequently so that can be a red flag. I enjoy their vast menu and it's a great attempt a Mexican. It's a bit pricier than other fast food chains. Sometimes the orders can take a while. The workers have been very pleasurable. But with these wait times and prices that I experienced I wouldn't go over 4 stars

We were literally the only two dine-in customers in the place at 5:30pm. Stood at the counter and looked around, not an employee in sight. After a few minutes someone appeared and mumbled a half-assed apology. We politely asked for a senior discount, only when we sat down and checked our receipt, our request had been plainly ignored. While I waited for our order my wife went to use the restroom, only to return quickly looking like she had just seen a murder scene in there. Said it was beyond filthy. An anonymous man in street clothes shortly came out from somewhere and proceeded to the kitchen to hang out and talk to a uniformed employee who was preparing food while having a sneezing fit over everything and wiping her nose on her hands and sleeves. An unattended mop bucket full of dirty water sat in the middle of the dining room for the duration of our stay. Somehow, the food was really decent as always with Taco Cabana, but this location was inexcusably bad.

I swear Taco Cabana and Whataburger are fighting the for longest drive-thru experience record. I ordered curbside, only to be taken to Taco Cabana's voicemail when I called the number. I attempted to go inside to pick up my order, but the doors were locked, even though a sign on the door said the lobby was open for pick up.

They don't stay open until it's time to close at 11. They closed 10 minutes early tonight. By the way it says online all taco cabanas are open til 12 am tonight. Get it together taco cabana. Took the 2 cars in front of me orders & gave them their food but wouldn't take my husbands order. I've worked for the company before at other locations. I wonder if Renee is in charge of this location. Because this type of behavior was never allowed at the store I worked at before covid.
