Needed some food and beer after a flight from Atlanta. And within walking distance. Taco Flats was recommended so we gave it a try. 7 minute walk in a nice neighborhood and we were there. Immediately got a good vibe. Great menu and beer choices.

Consistently delicious (Dirty South is my go-to breakfast taco and Don Ramon is my every time taco but my favorite item is the Tostados de Atún), consistently friendly, and my favorite of the three FT locations.

I’ve been to Austin a dozen times in the last biennium to escape the swamp that is DC, and frequent Taco Flats as an escape from reality.
Tonight my group ordered four items: the quesadilla, pirata, queso & chips, and shrimp taco (it has a different name which fleets my mind but was a forgetful experience)....
