This is such a great spot. You start with the friendliest owner and fantastic customer service. His kind demeanor and genuine interaction were refreshing after a long day. Next, you start smelling your order as he begins cooking it, building anticipation…and the anticipation worth it. DELICIOUS! Quite possibly the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Great job young man!

Food and Service were excellent. I got the combo plate with the OG wings, rice, plantains, and salad. I got it spicy and it was a great level with a kick but not too spicy that it overwhelmed the flavor. Wings were juicy and crispy but not greasy. I also got the ginger drink out of curiosity. It was very strong ginger flavor and sweet, but I overall enjoyed it.
Delicious wings so crispy and juicy at the same time! The rice was absolutely unique and just even spice to give it a little kick. Excellent customer service so friendly and welcoming. Perfect location on Rainey! Definitely recommend if you’re coming to Austin!

Best African street food I’ve ever had! Fantastic prices in great atmosphere to eat it at. Open late and can easily grab a drink at Leicester pear right next to it if needed! The owner Abe is So kind and attentive. Highly recommend this place to anybody looking to grub late night or anytime!

Went in not knowing what to expect, and what I got was really delicious. Honestly it's different enough from most cuisines I've tried that I have a difficult time describing it, but it's extremely delicious, flavorful and all the ingredients are high quality and perfectly cooked. Really excellent food.
