Great happy hour options! We had a nice early dinner - service was attentive and food was delicious and well-presented.
Jeremy in the kitchen & Tori (I hope I got her name correct) were wonderful! We went for a midweek date night and the food was out of this world per usual. We always find ourselves saying wow
Our waitress was phenomenal and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and birthday celebration!
Service wasn't great as previous visit , maybe it's just the waitress issue . We were group of 4 vegetarians, most of dishes in vegetarian weren't available. ( it wasn't too late , 9p)
We are disappointed in most restaurants we try, so always a nice surprise when one impresses. We found almost everything of what we tried to be better than expected. Highlights included the nigiri - it was all very fresh and the flavor additions (such as yuzu) were elevating. As for the steak, the Texas wagyu dry aged rib eye was terribly disappointing - with more gristle than tender marbling. But the 5 stars was earned with the other dishes and especially the Japanese A5 wagyu filet - one of the best steak experiences we've had anywhere (including what we've had in Japan). Cooked extremely well with a tasty char, perfectly medium rare, incredibly tender.
TenTen is my favorite restaurant in all of Austin. I’ve eaten here many times and utilized the happy hour menu mostly. If you like sushi rolls, the happy hour quality and prices can not be beaten. I’m not exaggerating when I say I was sick of eating sushi rolls until I came here. The rolls are unique in their own ways - I’d recommend trying them all except for the wagyu ones.
Everyone I’ve brought to TenTen has loved it, and I think they deserved a much higher rating.
Chicken karaage, miso soup, wagyu mini tacos are excellent as well. They used to have a spicy margarita with habanero infused tequila, which they unfortunately replaced.

PHENOMENAL service (and food!) here. We showed up 14 mins after our reservation and although we tried to call & no one answered, our table was given away. We were seated at a high top table instead, which we were disappointed with, however, our server Alex and manager Chris did an amazing job turning the night around for us. We were checked on often, had several appetizers & drinks covered, had a champagne toast brought to us, and even had their most expensive appetizer brought out to us. I truly have not seen service to this level. We were very impressed and grateful for a delicious free dessert as well. Beyond this, we love the vibe at TenTen and every single thing we’ve ordered here has been delicious. Highly recommend!

Staff was friendly and fast, even though we went the Friday before F1. The apps were all delicious and gone all too fast - we'll definitely be back to make sure we taste test them all!

A perfect balance of traditional Japanese and modern techniques (image is of Hamachi carpaccio). TenTen is always a unique and delightful experience!
Our tab was about 70-ish per person with multiple courses and drinks.

I love TenTen and was so excited to return. The 50% wagyu is such an amazing deal. Only sidebar is I didn't like how the automated tip options calculated my bill as if some items weren't 50% off. I always tip at least 20% but I didn't appreciate being prompted to tip 33% of my bill. Everything else was amazing! The host Sunday 11/23 was so nice and our server was excellent.
We tried a few things, started out with the charred edamame... it was very charred and other then that no flavor it was in need of salt and less on the burnt side. The pork belly was suggested by our waitress and was super underwhelming, lacked flavor on all aspects. The spicy tuna roll was very fishy. We also ordered the duck breast that was told was the best thing on the menu and it was over cooked and chewy. We also ordered a few nigiri pieces that were fishy possibly on the older side. In my opinion the only thing that was good was the drinks the food is very over priced and not good. The waitress claimed everything was slow due to a big party that was only supposed to half but doubled in size and didn't seem to be concerned at all about the food being left, never asked if anything was good or not and when i did tell her the problem they had no solutions. I will not be visiting this place again after spending $300 on a not so good dinner
The staff was professional and courteous and the food was great. We went during happy hour on Saturday, which is rare for a restaurant to have happy hour in a Saturday. They have $10 sushi rolls, and other snacks items, $12 saki flight, and sandwich options available. The wagyu sando was delicious. I also got the raspberry matcha dessert that was great. We’re definitely going back.

We had a reservation for two and brought our small, well-behaved dog who fits in a bag. I tried calling ahead to confirm that dogs were allowed — no one ever picked up, even though that’s the only way to reach them. The website doesn't specify anything about dogs. When we arrived, the doorman was extremely rude, didn’t even bother to ask if the dog was a service animal, and simply turned us away. The place was maybe 80% empty, so it wasn’t about space. We would have been good business — we tip well — and our dog wouldn’t have caused any trouble.
If you’re visiting Austin, do yourself a favor and skip this place. There are plenty of also better-looking restaurants with friendlier staff, equally interesting menus, and equal or better prices just down the road.
