Nice bar Fried catfish was delish. We will go back
I asked for shrimp tacos. The fish tacos were $11.99 and the menu said that the tacos came with 2 sides. The waitress said the menu was wrong and only came with one side. I got 3 tiny shrimp tacos for $16.99 not $11.99! Why advertise 2 sides and then tell me I only get one? Shrimp cost an extra $5? They were so tiny! Service was great. Misleading menu, small portion and overpriced. Will not be back.
Noticed that my favorite pizza place had changed hands to a cajun grill, so took the family to try it out. It was a Thursday night, and they had a special all you can eat catfish that night for around $10, so my son and I tried that. He got the blackened and I had the fried. Both dishes came out perfect. He tried some of mine & I tried some of his and when we reordered more, he got what I first tried and I did likewise. My other 2 sons said their dishes were really delicious, and perfectly seasoned as well. Everything tasted fresh, and the catfish pieces were HUGE. I doubt you'll find them bigger anywhere else, cause believe me, I eat a lot of catfish, and have got it from just about every restaurant in Austin. Wait staff was excellent, and very attentive as well. Great atmosphere. TRY IT!!
The great: the catfish, which was seasoned well and cooked just right. The good: the vegetables, I'd eat those all day. In fact if I went there to catch a game I'd snack on their vegetable sides. The bad: the gumbo. Mine had too much oil, which I think is fine for some people but not for me. I couldn't finish it. I think the taste could be there, but they've got to cut back on the oil and allow the flavors to express themselves.
1st time here and it won’t be the last! We had the Cajun Pasta, Carfish Étouffée, and Tacos. Great flavors and good portions. They even have games to keep you entertained while you wait on your food. Jenga, Dominoes and others. Check ‘em out!
Bought food here a couple of times. The catfish dinner: 2 worth the money filets, long stem green beans, red beans and rice . Although I prefer whole catfish because I eat the tail as well. The gumbo well balanced with a kick of heat ??. Great customer service ????
Have eaten there twice now. Really good catfish and lots of it. had the chicken fried steak which was a good piece of meat and not overly covered with breading. Fried okra was done very well and the mashed potatoes in a bowl were flavorful.
I stopped here after work for a beer. It’s a cute bar and grill with a really fun atmosphere. I try the Boudin balls they were so good!! Definitely will be back Friday for 2.50 tacos and check out there live music !!!
The steak was delicious ate there 3 days in a row
Dakota was FANTASTIC. My boyfriend and I just came here for the first time and needless to say, we will be back every Thursday for the all you can eat Catfish. The blackened catfish was SUBLIME.

I have eaten here twice so far my first time I had the fried pickles which were delicious! Also tried the half chicken nachos which was awesome!!! Today I had the catfish which was fried to perfection the gumbo was amazing with a nice spice and mixed veggies were good
My 1st time and wasnt bad at all the entertainment was fun and food was ok. Definitely coming back for more fun.
? the wings were awful. Had to put more sauce on them when I got home. Nachos was soggy. Jambalaya was soup. Go to hook and reel for real cajun food. They have crawfish too.
Gumbo is on point
