Noticed that my favorite pizza place had changed hands to a cajun grill, so took the family to try it out. It was a Thursday night, and they had a special all you can eat catfish that night for around $10, so my son and I tried that. He got the blackened and I had the fried. Both dishes came out perfect. The great: the catfish, which was seasoned well and cooked just right. The good: the vegetables, I'd eat those all day. In fact if I went there to catch a game I'd snack on their vegetable sides. The bad: the gumbo. Mine had too much oil, which I think is fine for some people but not for me. I couldn't finish it. I think the taste could be there, but they've got to cut back on the oil and allow the flavors to express themselves.
1st time here and it won’t be the last! We had the Cajun Pasta, Carfish Étouffée, and Tacos. Great flavors and good portions. They even have games to keep you entertained while you wait on your food. Jenga, Dominoes and others. Check ‘em out!
