Sad to see a place go down hill I used to wait tables here and bust my ass to make sure people got their drinks, were happy with their food and bussed tables non stop. No lemons after 7:30pm very odd. One of the bartenders had an excuse that it was because I left, but I can’t work there forever!
You ever walk into a smallish looking dingy dungeon with glowing red lights? That's the ambience of the TCP and it's awesome. You walk into a different world of vintage signs, with a classic looking little bar on your left where you know the regulars sit daily. You're escorted to a table that's jammed among other tables in a rustic setting. And I absolutely love the vibe. The service is amazing and the atmosphere is to match. $25 ribeye steak with potato...
Our first stop in Austin happened purely by coincidence. I had looked at it as a stop for our first visit to Austin and it became our first destination after staying around the corner. The staff was absolutely the best! Friendly, informative, and just a hell of a lot of fun! Thank you for making Austin a place we will definitely come back to! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
