Our first stop in Austin happened purely by coincidence. I had looked at it as a stop for our first visit to Austin and it became our first destination after staying around the corner. The staff was absolutely the best! Friendly, informative, and just a hell of a lot of fun! Thank you for making Austin a place we will definitely come back to! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
This chili institution in Austin has been there for 50 years. There was a constant stream of people coming in to dine and all the tables were filled. Service was exceedingly slow as we only observed 2 servers the night we were there. The menu offered a selection of different types of chili (around 5 kinds) and that variety was nice because you can order a sampler to try several types of chili. The disappointment came after a long wait when all the chili arrived, lukewarm. We tried...
Really interesting little chili joint that serves delectable food. Kind staff and quick serving times. Chili is very good, and the pork chops were decent too. Definitely a spot I'd revisit.
