I'm writing this review while waiting on my drink, which has been about 20 minutes. I ordered a Bloody Mary, but I guess I'm not getting my drink. ?
Fun fact: I've seen my waitress only two times. Once to put in my order and another time to get the bill. The service was horrific, so I was thinking maybe the food will be better. Well you're wrong. We shared an order of the brisket tacos. The only good part about the dish was the eggs, and that was mediocre at best. It reminded me of the powdered eggs one is served at a Best Western or Travelodge. I thought I was staying at a 5 ⭐️ resort. The brisket was as dry as the Sahara desert, and I couldn’t even eat it, as evident in my picture. No flavor. I asked for hot sauce from another waiter, and never received the bottle, so I took action and went to the mini bar and served myself the hot sauce. I should've know better when staying at a resort not to eat at places like these. Learn from me y'all. Stay away for breakfast. I should’ve gone to a food truck to get better breakfast.

Hidden away in a hotel, this is a gem of breakfast buffets in Austin. Omelettes are amazing as well as the blueberry sausage - service and atmosphere was also really good. Only thing that wasn't great were the pancakes.

Kid-friendliness: Under 3s eat free at the buffet

Great atmosphere and really courteous and polite staff. Everything looked so good, but My Wife and I weren't extremely hungry, so We just ended up splitting a breakfast. If ever in the Barton area, We highly recommend trying this place.

Their breakfast is amazing. We wish we would have gotten to go more than once. You are able to get the buffet or order off the menu. We prefer the buffet. What a lovely spread that included, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, oatmeal, fruit, eggs, and omelet station, danishes, cereal. They have something for everyone.

Definitely would revisit if we ever stayed in the hotel again.

If you’re having doubts whether to go. Don’t. Just go…

How do I begin? The first impression set the tone for our 5 days at this amazing property. The staff is so welcoming and provided personalized service. Katie & Team at Reception: thank you for your attention to detail. The rooms are beautifully furnished and comfortable. Amenities such bathrobes, coffee & bottled water are provided. There are a many restaurants on the property to choose from.We tried them all. Close by Bee Caves and West Hills Communities offer other restaurants if you want to go outside the property. Downtown is close and an easy drive. Don’t miss the pool & spa with Hill Country views. Yes, we golfed??‍♀️?️‍♂️The courses are challenging and fun. Thank you Casey and Staff in Pro Shop! Team Z had a great time. Thank you Omni Barton Creek for making my BDay special.

I have no real complaints about the hotel- we had a really nice long weekend there. I thought the communication was top notch- all the way from pre-flight problems to housekeeping texting us to let us know they were available to clean. The staff was overall super friendly throughout. Kaiti at the front desk was a great way to check in, and the rest of the staff carried through the caring attitude. Room furniture was a little generic/dated- but room was in good shape and clean. Can't sit on any balcony, which would have been nice given the great weather. Gym was fantastic and huge- 3 Peloton bikes for those that care. Jogging and swimming- classes. Definitely A plus for that. Food was overall pretty good and not insanely expensive. Valet overnight is $40, and the free parking garage is a 2 minute walk through the ballrooms, so you make that decision for yourself. Would stay again and take advantage of golf and tennis/pickleball next time. The staff surely will keep you coming back.

This place was amazing. I headed to the resort for a weekend surprise getaway for my wife. The accommodation, food, golf, and spa are a must. All the services that the hotel provides are highly recommended. I do want to highlight the bar staff at Jim Bob's. Allan, Sylvia, and Ethan were very polite, personable, and accommodating for our small get-together. Drinks and service during a busy weekend were terrific!!! Highly recommend the whole atmosphere of this hotel!!! I will be coming back with some more professional outings to this resort.

Stayed three nights with a friend and enjoyed the restaurants, spa, and setting. What really set the place apart was the friendliness (but not in an overbearing way) of literally every staff member we encountered, and the fact that every inch of the property (and there are a lot of them) was immaculate. A really nice retreat.

My girlfriend and I stayed for New Years weekend and enjoyed 3 nights at the Omni. Resort and room was immaculate and property is beautifully located in the hills. Grayson - gave a great check in upon arrival at front desk and was very friendly and helpful Val and Deltanese - at front desk - both helped resolve some billing concerns and were very attentive and secured our loyalty as future guests, as we look forward to return to Barton Creek very soon. I'd like to bring the family back for a gathering soon. MG

This is a lovely suburb. We managed to have some short walks on the hotel grounds. Lovely time of year November. We stayed four nights and enjoyed the room, comfortable bed. Just a note, you must have a car to reach this resort. It is very isolated in a lovely upscale neighbourhood. Driving is easy and well marked with rolling hills. Our room was on the ground floor with easy walk out to the car. Strangely the room isn’t supplied with basics like tea bags, tea kettle or toothbrushes. If you need these, you need to call the front desk. This was annoying; everyday for four days. There is a coffee machine in the room. The hotel provides two paper cups each day. On one hand, it’s more sanitary, on the other, the environment should be considered. The cleaning staff? “No English” she says apologetically. If you have any questions, you must call the front desk; it was kinda difficult. When we arrived our bathtub was congested with dirty water back up. An attendant came quickly with a toilet plunger to clear it; but the tub was never washed with any cleanser. Ewe is all I can say. Our stay wasn’t perfect; but it is a lovely room.

Let me begin with shoutouts to individuals who made my trip so welcoming, enjoyable, and memorable: Carmen and Kay and Will at the front desk were incredibly professional and kind. Allen and Sylvia at Jim Bobs were effortless masters at their trade. Donovan at Bob’s was a manager with class who also selected a great wine to accommodate our Wagyu Tomahawk steak. Lindsey at Nopale’s was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Ruth and Steven and our bartender were brilliant at Blind Salamander. The resort is lovely, the restaurants made us never need to leave, and the Golf was off the charts. This trip was so perfect for getting out of town and feeling no urge to return. Hospitality, safety, comfort, and unyielding professionalism was all we encountered at every turn.
