Every protein was severely overcooked. No chicken in any dish was even palatable. The sticky rice was basically a hockey puck- worst I've ever had, seriously could have played softball with it. The only saving grace was the flavor of the fried rice.
This place seemed to have potential, like a good restaurant where the head cook took a sick day. The service was good and ambiance nice. Just tighten up standards on what leaves the kitchen.

I don’t know how I a half thai half viet women can feel marginalized in a “thai restaurant” but Thai Fresh has poor customer service, cashiers who feel entitled to properly do their jobs, and an automatic 15% gratuity fee for take out when I was left with food I do not want after an awful experience ordering. They need to really reconsider who they have at the POS because the girl with blonde hair is simply not cut out for most possibly the least skilled job in the world. Do better.

Overpriced, tasteless food. Rude incompetent staff. There are many great options in Austin. Avoid this place.

Had the same experience as many recent patrons. Extremely overpriced that nowhere NEAR reflects the quality of food. Ordered the pad kra pao which was completely uninspiring and tasteless. Green beans and a few pieces of meat does not make a pad kra pao. I’m unsure told them this could classify as a “Thai” dish. Had to drench it in the spicy fish sauce for any semblance of Thai, or any, flavor. Now to the fun part— the prices include service which is honorable IF the service is good. I paid about $30 for the dish and a Thai tea. Absolutely sad level of service even at a time when there were maybe 3 other tables being served in the restaurant. I know it’s harsh, but this may be the absolutely worst Thai experience I’ve ever had.
A shame they have Thai in the name. Tip: you can get a good idea of the quality of the experience when there are no Thai people in the entire restaurant. Sad they have coopted such a beautiful cuisine and pass whatever they have as “Thai Fresh”.

15% mandatory tip for PICK UP orders. Meaning I paid a dozen dollars to drive myself to their facility (because they are too greedy to pay that same 15% to a delivery service or driver), receive no special service, no ecstatic thank you, no sweet little cookie for coming by, just lazy drop of my food on the counter and the sheer greed of these little purple haired individuals (meaning ownership, management, and regular staff alike) that believe my hard earned money belongs in their pocket, rather the mine, because they did…their….job….below satisfactory levels.
The best part is I’m a very generous tipper and for simply grabbing my food with a 360 degree, in-place turn, I probably would have thrown ya $5. Literally catch me at a coffee shop tipping $3 for no reason.
But when you’re this greedy, disguised as an equitable solution (truly just owners being cheap) it’s such a repulsive result. To find out I’ve been auto tipping (without choice) every time I do a pick up order will now make this the last visit.
If you stuck around to read this, it’s solid food, no better than the others, safe yourself the tragedy of supporting an enterprise like this for takeout. DEFINITELY don’t eat inside, very sad atmosphere, same below average service, and an auto tip for that service, I’m sure 😂

I’ve ordered from here 1-2x per week since I moved to the neighborhood about a year ago and tonight was definitely the last time I will order. Every time I come, the service gets worse and worse, and tonight it was unacceptable.

Great spot, quiet, really delicious, and an entire GF bakery with the best coconut milk ice cream in the game.

This place is gluten free, dairy free heaven. Chill vibe and sensational food. I’m obsessed with the pork larb, pad sew ew, and pandan ice cream. TF never fails.

Expensive and lacked authentic Thai flavours
You have to pay extra for protein.
i got Tofu. I had a hard job finding Tofu in it.
I was given the option of rice or noodles by waiter, I chose noodles. The noodles came on the side as single concealed lump that you needed a knife to carve thru it. What chef would send that out and be proud of it?
I adore Thai food and but this was horrible.
I mentioned to staff and they said it was not supposed to come with noodles. But why offer the option??? hell if I could have avoided the blob of gunk I would have.
No not a nice meal

We’ve been coming to Thai Fresh for over 15 years and after today I’m certain we won’t be back. The food- tasteless, and not enjoyable. The prices keep going up, and the value is NOT worth it. We came in and most of the employees seem to be in a rush and annoyed to have patrons. I’m kinda baffled as to why the house was so packed. We liked the ice cream, only reason for the extra star.
Nowhere to park. Parked next door to come in and get my food instead of blocking cars in like the DoorDash guys do.
Car was booted immediately. $75 to remove it.

Food tasted; was either bland or too salty. Never have been so dissatisfied with thai food before. We ordered; jungle noodles, eggplant stir fry and green curry fried rice - none of these were appetizing. The noodles was super oily, the fried rice had no taste and the stir fry was even worse the other two dishes

Great spot—service can be a little spotty, considering their included service fee, but overall a good local place.
