Met these two goofballs last night and let me tell y’all they were such a vibe! Cam and Barry were putting on a show and making everyone feel so welcome. Even had these two random ladies on West 6th telling me ‘You need to go see Cam and Barry at Beez Kneez.’ They’ve got the sweetest souls and it was such a fun night for a Monday. Definitely going back!!

By far the worst bar on west 6 street . People of color be aware of this place . They not only take their time to serve you a drink , they also have unsafe practices like not giving water to their customers when they ask for it . It can save someone’s life if you make sure they do not leave wasted . I recommend going to Greenlight bartenders at least care for you there .

The Beez Knees used to a be laid back spot in grad school, but now there is a bartender there who is rude and pretentious. We showed up and ordered some cheap beers and ranch waters and played pool- keeping to ourselves. After we closed out the tab, the bartender abruptly snapped at us and shouted at us to leave because the tip was too low (16-17% including tax) for low effort ranch waters and beer.
It was disappointing to be ushered out rudely with 5 minutes left in our game. It was closing time so we left with no issue. We didn’t fight it, but we can’t stand behind our support of their good bar service any longer.
If you want to play a some late at night pool, I would recommend another bar that is open to casual players and not just high rollers looking to spend a lot on fancy drinks.

Went after a Longhorn game and really enjoyed how intimate the place was! The decor was neat! Reminded me of mix between the Married with Children set, my great grandma's house, and a dingy dive honky-tonk all rolled into one. Service was quick and courteous. Definitely gonna be back! House espresso martini was a 3.8 outta 5! 💯

Barry and Chris are truly the best! My boyfriend came in from Tennessee and Barry turned on the Tennessee game just for us. They were so accommodating and made sure that we felt at home. They deserve a raise! We have had the best experience in Austin!

First time in this joint and let me tell you…it’s the Beez Kneez. Bartender Barry with the cowboy hat…the best experience I’ve ever had! Espresso Martinis immaculate. Somehow a yellow belly tastes better in this place!! Barry though can’t say enough. Made the whole experience!! Go see him for a good time!!
