If you got a hankering for a gut shot, he is your man. The meals are fresh. The tater tots are crunchy and salty?. Born and raised Austin chef.

A SOLID 5-stars!! This place kicks @$$!!!! My wife, son and I finally stopped in after hearing so much about this place. Sooooo glad we finally did! I had the chuckwagon with grilled onions and jalapeños, phenomenal! Wife had a steak biscuit and son had the Texas tots…all of them were amazing! Can’t wait to come get something else!! Thanks brother and see you soon!

This guy is amazing and the food was spot on. If you’re out this way stop and see this guy. It’s a hut for sure but well worth it.

Food came out hot and fresh. Broke a sweat while eating it. Fries and gravy were well seasoned. Steak fingers had really good flavor.

04 has been my favorite dive bar in Austin for so long and the only thing they’ve been missing is food. Ever since biscuit man has started slangin his biscuits out front I’ve been obsessed. I usually get a simple little chick, which is just chicken and pickles and it’s always so good. But the French fries are probably the best fries I’ve had in such a long time. I will literally get two orders because I don’t want to share.

Visiting Austin from NYC and found this incredible place on Google. The biscuit sandwiches are fresh and out of this world delicious. If we lived here we would stop by everyday. Can’t recommend this place enough! Thanks for blowing our minds with your food!

BISCUIT HUT MOVED TO: The 04 Lounge at 3808 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704. just minutes away north of Ben White. His hours are flipped around to late night now, i type this as i am standing in front of his old location. (Where did the Pie Guy go?)After the last time i was here, i made a point to come back to this location. His biscuits are solid w/ good, more the drop style and less flaky. He didn't use lard in them at the time. i had egg, cheese, mushroom etc. (let's call it an adapted Cali - but he also has bean for lacto-ovo non-carnivore like me) Tater tots/potatoes were out ( it's ok to sell through your supply, like any good purveyor! ), drinks were basic canned. Haiku review - His dialed-in menu//Is good, hot, affordable. //Special requests, too.
Vegetarian options: If you eat eggs and cheese you're good. Otherwise, just get a plain biscuit or three! They're delicious.
