Only stayed for a night! The hotel room wasn’t too small, I think it was a pretty decent size. The double beds could fit two teens, they had a full length mirror, and the bathroom was a decent size for multiple people to get around in. Huge plus is the a/c that does whatever you need it to! Location was great, hotel was in rough shape. Our toilet was basically broken, the lights in the bathroom/ sink area took forever to turn on after flipping the switch, and the furniture was pretty worn out. Pool could have been cleaner. We had family traveling with us and one of their door lock mechanisms was coming off the door. Very friendly staff, everyone was super nice! An old hotel that had what looked like a rushed face lift. Definitely needs work.
I love this location, which is why I've stayed here 3 different times in 1 month. The location is easy in, easy out...so many hotels in Austin are on frontage roads and one-ways, which can be annoying. You can walk to Whole Foods, and some restaurants and stores. Parking lot seems inadequate, but since I stayed here during Covid, it wasn't a problem. Beds are comfortable, and rooms were clean. Bathrooms were not updated, but everything worked well. Front office folks...
