Tried a bunch of $4 tacos on Taco Tuesday. Fried shrimp taco was my favorite, but they were all good

My BF and I started off by ordering 2 draft beers. Server brought my beer, and 15 mins later brought his. I ordered 2 pounds of crawfish, he ordered fried catfish. His catfish was brought to the table 45 mins before my crawfish ever came out. We asked twice if my food would be out anytime soon after his was and we kept being told it was coming out shortly, we waited and waited. It’s common sense to bring entrees out at the same time, not 45 mins apart. The first excuse for the timing difference is his was fried and mine was boiled which takes longer. Again, that’s common sense but there’s ways to bring it to the table around the same time. The manager on duty, Shelia, was nothing but condescending, even laughing at us for not understanding the difference in “fried and boiled” and the way their system is set up it doesn’t arrive at the same time or anywhere near that. We had no issue waiting 45 mins for both entrees to come out at the same time. It’s bizarre to think it’s ok to bring entrees out 45 mins apart. I will say, a kindergartner would have better customer service skills than Shelia and also would be better dressed. Complete slob. Looked homeless while laughing at our valid concerns. Our server had better management/customer service than Sheila. We’ve always loved the crawfish here but will never return after this run in with Shelia. Completely unacceptable and off putting.

Can't say enough good things about our first experience here. Food was great, service (Shelby) was slot on and the vibe was awesome. Will be going back.

Food was meh. Like not bad but not good. Very overpriced for what you get. The prices were almost the same as Trulucks pricing for the items we got and we just ate there not too long ago. We drove to the boat for crawfish (I had called prior to make sure they had crawfish and they said they did) when we got there at 4:30 we were told they were out and they didn’t know what time their delivery would arrive. So I settled for blackened shrimp tacos and my husband got the ponchartrain dish. He said his was ok. My shrimp tacos lacked so much flavor. Shrimp was overcooked. Hard to chew. I upgraded to the dirty rice for a side and it wasn’t good at all. So disappointed. Oh and to end the evening the waiter tells us as we are ready for the check that they just got the crawfish delivery in… I hate wasting money and this was definitely money wasted.

Not what it used to be crawfish are unbearably salty. The bartenders are amazing and the only reason I go back. I tried to place a to go order while I was in the parking lot with my daughter who was asleep, but she wouldn’t let me pay cash for my order even though I was right outside in the parking lot. I had a card, but I felt like it was the principal. I feel sorry for whoever was jaded enough to say no to a cash order with a woman and her sleeping baby outside for one bowl of gumbo. That’s nuts.

Not a fancy place, but the seafood & Cajun food is a step above the surroundings. Very good food in a relaxed, moderately priced place.

Going in, the greeting and small talk was great.I was under the impressIon that the hostess was also our sever by taking our order and God i wish he was. When our food came out ,sever michelle G basically thru our plates and saying what they were. No can I get you anything else ,do u need refills etc. she was even she filled the napkins on another table shouting wow this table used a lot. Her service or lack there of is the worst in all my life. The worst part came when she was quick for the bill that she broke the card while taking payment. I told her if she wasn't in a hurry to get us out that wouldn't have occurred. She ran to the back and never came back out and the male manager not once apologized. He said oh you should still be able to use it.what was worse... the Long John silver food or the service is a tight race. To the manager and Michelle ,no the card was able to be used and a new one had to be ordered. We will never return to your establishment .

I will give a 5-starts to this place. What a nice restaurant.
First, they allowed us to come with our little 11-pounds dog. Second, the staff were incredibly attentive and professional.
I have asked for a recommendation and the red fish was just delicious! Highly recommended!

This place brings back all the nostalgia of being on the water in the Houston area, with a little Austin pop. Their food is more fresh than I thought it could be this far from the gulf. Great place to unwind and dig into some seafood. I definitely recommend anything oysters related
