Tried Indian Flames today with my friend, and the food was amazing! The dahi bhalla was very good and perfectly sweet, and the pani puri was just awesome. Great flavors and authentic taste — really good Indian food! Highly recommend!

I tried Indian Flames in Austin recently and honestly, the food was really good. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The butter chicken was creamy and delicious, the tikka had great spice, and the naan was soft and served warm. Their biryani was also really nice — flavorful without being too spicy.
The staff was super friendly and the service was fast, even though the place was pretty busy. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, and the prices felt fair for the amount of food you get.
If you’re looking for good Indian food in Austin, definitely give this place a try. I’ll gladly go back again.

I really wanted to love this place. The ambiance in the food park was lovely. We waited 35 mins. for our food. We ordered off of the vegetarian menu and were disappointed by the quality of the food. The tofu in the tofu tikka masala was undercooked and didn’t have any flavor, the vegetable curry was sour, and the veggie spring rolls were little egg rolls that seemed like the frozen ones from Costco. They tried to give us ketchup instead of tamarind sauce with them. I was disappointed. Maybe the meat options are tastier.

I ordered via DoorDash so can speak for the service or atmosphere!!
I ordered the butter chicken and daal tarka, 90% of the chicken was inedible, they were so rubbery and hard like pellets, I had to spit them out! It’s a shame as the sauce was nice!! The daal was tasteless. I am shocked at the good reviews…. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this place! Very disappointing.

Amazing food in an unlikely setting. Chefs will listen to your dietary needs and prepare food accordingly. Be patient; speed is not the strong suit here - but quality is. We are so happy to have this place in our area.

We got a Veg biryani and Chole batura.
The location and atmosphere was very nice, with lots of seating next to the food truck.
However, the food was so so. The biryiani veggies tasted like coming from a frozen bag, and the chole had that canned tomato sauce taste.
I think the issue is a too big menu, especially for a food truck, making it difficult to stock all ingredients fresh. They should cut down the menu in half and focus on a few great dishes from fresh ingredients.

Today is the 3rd time I have ordered food from Indian Flames for a large event and they delivered on point, as always! Taste was authentic and consistent; spice level was adjusted to our needs and everyone in my office enjoyed the food. The owner is quick to respond to queries and receptive to the feedback - highly recommended this hidden gem!
