I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone to go anywhere!! Total scam
We used to go to this place every other weekend to view the sunset. However, this weekend, they imposed an exorbitant fee of $10 per person to access the viewing area. They claimed that this fee was would apply towards your order, the food quality was disappointing. Since I don’t drink alcohol, I ordered nachos, only to end up with food poisoning. I’ve been vomiting for the past two days, and to make matters worse, they’ve already add 20% gradually. This experience felt like a complete scam, and I have no intention of returning to this establishment.

The place was a dump. Don’t bother with the food. It’s expensive, overly touristy and weird kids who seat you. The view is a lake. Not even a pretty lake. Tourist trap.

This is one of the most amazing restaurants I've ever been to. And, it's more than a restaurant. It's a must see attraction with the best view of Lake Travis, and by far the most magnificent spot to watch a Texas sunset. When in Austin, the Oasis calls!

Never been there yet, but in the 1960s we fished at lake Travis drink some lone star beer. My grand father caught a 60 lb. Blue cat fish in lake Travis, we ate a lot of fried cat fish. My grandfather was PORTER WIMBERLY, WIRY HAIR IRISH WHICH DIED WHEN HE WAS 76 OF SMOKING CANCER STICKS AND DRINKING BEER

A wonderful evening on the cliffs of Lake Travis. Chips and Hot sauce and queso were delicious 😋. Pork tacos with rice were excellent. The waitress was awesome.

Visiting The Oasis in Austin was such a great experience. From the moment you arrive, the view of Lake Travis is breathtaking, especially at sunset—it’s truly one of the best spots in Texas to catch the sunset.

The vibe is super relaxed and fun, with live music on some nights and a very welcoming atmosphere. Service can be a bit slow when it’s crowded, but the staff is always friendly and does their best to make things run smoothly.

The food is simple—Tex-Mex and American classics—perfect for enjoying with friends or family. It’s not gourmet, but it works great for a casual outing.
