Everything was delicious! Husband and I enjoyed the crab hummus, manti, lamb kefta and latkes. Great cozy vibe too. Will definitely be back. ?

We recently made a reservation for our anniversary and put in a request for a vegetarian diet. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly greeted with a vegetarian menu and we found an anniversary card signed by the staff on our table. The food was exquisite, the ambience was on point. We were a family of four. We ordered four entrees , 2 appetizers and 3 cocktails . Each dish was so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Made our dining experience so special . This is our new favorite place to dine for special occasions. This restaurant has a potential to be a Michelin star restaurant! Highly recommend it!? I gave a 4 star for atmosphere because we came for dinner and we had trouble reading the menu and had to pull out our phone to use the flashlight to read the menu to place the order. Overall I give it 2 thumbs up!!
Vegetarian options: We loved the shallot hummus, chilli hummus the cauliflower tagine, mezze plate, the salad with mint sauce . Baklavas were delish!

Atmosphere very pretty, food and service very mid. I have no problem throwing down for little portions full of flavor that knock my socks off, but my socks stayed on. I did really appreciate all the beautiful ceramic art everywhere.
Good food but extremely expensive and barely enough portion size for ONE person.

Food was good but not worth the price at all. For 7 people we paid almost $900 and not all the dishes were good. This is not a spot that I recommend to be honest. The food did look phenomenal though and aesthetically everything was on point.

solutely loved The Peacock at Austin Proper! The vibe is stylish yet cozy, and the Mediterranean food is on point. The manti dumplings were perfectly tender with a creamy yogurt sauce that hit all the right notes. And the hummus? Seriously smooth and paired with warm bread that was hard to stop eating.
Great service, cool atmosphere, and flavors that transport you—this place is a must if you’re in Austin!

The food was pretty good. I got the lamb chops and they tasted pretty good. The menu could have used more appetizers.
My friend is vegetarian and she could only have the humas, bread, and rice.

Server was attentive and kind! Food was deliiiiiiciooooous, make sure to go very hungry. We ordered the hummus & octopus. All the sauces were divine! My boyfriend ordered a drink (not pictured) that was refreshing.

Food was fantastic I recommend the beef dumplings.
If we had a bigger table we would have ordered more food. Our server could have come by a little bit more often for more cocktails, but otherwise it was a nice experience.
We came in about 20 minutes early for our reservation and were seated shortly after arrival. The whole staff I looked nice and acted professional.
If you come at night it's going to be pretty loud due to the bar being very overcrowded next door.
