I travel a lot for work and loved coming here whenever I was in town! The tree inside is beautiful and makes it a really unique atmosphere. Tara makes THE best espresso martinis, she’s so friendly and always made me feel welcomed. Had some less positive experiences with some of the other staff so I pretty much only came here for Tara. Didn’t see her last time I was in town, I really hope they didn’t lose her because she really made this place stand out from all the other options nearby!!!

75 fans show up to watch a game they refuse to turn the sound in in the bar that is chocked full of tv’s which would lead a person to believe that the establishment caters to sports fans. You would be totally and completely incorrect! If your heart is set on watching a game here, get ready for major disappointment! Biggest game of the year and the staff is informed by the owner Niall that they are not allowed to turn the sound on for a 10:30am match on a Sunday due to the coincidental fact that it’s St. Paddy’s Day. Even though and in spite of the fact that the bar is full of football loving Irishmen. Is that enough to persuade them to flip the sound so that the 75+ people that showed up at 10am on a Sunday some driving for hours to enjoy the company of their friends and fellow sports fans are left disappointed and in disbelief that the owner of this self proclaimed and advertised sports bar utterly, absolutely and unapologetically refused to cater to is clients. Shame on you.

Service sometimes is lacking , food is good, they also say they are a 49ers bar but won’t play their games over other sporting events -

Never would go here again. They make you order through an app, but you can only order food so I had to go to a bar to order a coke. They automatically charge for a tip when you’re not even serviced. If it wasn’t for me being starving I would have left after ordering a coke.

This Irish pub turned out to be a pleasant surprise! I stumbled into it looking for a quick bite after a happy hour.It is tucked away in the middle of downtown with an unassuming entrance. However, this bar seems like an ideal spot to watch sports. Apparently it's an Iowa bar for all you Hawkeyes fans. The food was surprisingly good as well. Did I order a grilled chicken plate at a bar like a psycho? Yes. Was it actually really good? Also yes.All the fried food was delicious which most bars usually do well.

Move over, gingerbread lattes, there's a new holiday hero in town! This candy cane espresso wasn't just good, it was an arctic blast of minty perfection. The espresso had a rich, dark roast that stood up to the peppermint without getting lost, and the sweet finish tasted like Christmas cookies dipped in liquid candy canes. If you're looking for a festive punch to kickstart your winter mornings, this is the one. Ask for Tara!

The vibes are good. Lots of tv’s for watching sports and the tv’s above the urinals are a nice touch. The food isn’t great and the portions are pretty lack luster. The drinks are a little over priced compared to other bars in the area.

The bartender was great and friendly. The atmosphere was great and felt like an American Irish Pub. I had the Cottage Pie because I was impressed that someone knew the difference between Cottage Pie & Sheppard's Pie. It looked good but the taste left something to be desired. The cheese covering looked a bit like a french onion soup would & that didn't scare me off, but the dish tasted like nothing but cheese. There must have been parmesan cheese in the mashed potatoes & meat because that was all I could taste. VERY disappointed in the meal. And then there was an added automatic 20% tip included in my bill. I was dining alone so it was odd to see that. I'm a very good tipper but I hate when a business adds what they think I should tip for service that they did not witness. Tipping should always be discretionary.
