No pictures allowed, no videos allowed, no audio allowed, no fun allowed. Mid and super overpriced. I was going to post pictures of the pastries, but ya know, not allowed to. Things were plastic wrapped and honestly, HEB has better looking (and tasting) pastries. Also, the aggressive owner/manager responding to reviews is just an additional wild touch.

Reserved a spot for the afternoon tea, amazing and the best price I’ve seen for this type of experience in Austin! The scones were warm and crazy good and the variety of things to try was perfect.

Don’t bother. Looked nice online, but looked closed in reality. We tried the door, waited alone inside, until a staff member eventually showed from the back, finished her text, and asked what we wanted, with her AirPods in. We sat down but were served coffee in a paper cup, which I eventually binned as it wasn’t great. What a waste of what could be something great.

Showed up on Instagram and looked really pretty in pictures so I wanted to try it. The ambience and entrance was really great and pretty and the croissant was good. But latte was too watery (no idea how unless you pour water in), table was not cleaned and most of the items were already sold. Not sure if it was sold out or just not available. So a lot of things were empty.
Externally good but not worth it

We did Father’s Day tea time here today and it was perfect! The tea sets were so cute and the pastries and little sandwiches were delicious. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a whimsical atmosphere for brunch or tea, or if you need delicious pastries for a special occasion!

We came today for Father’s Day tea time and it was wonderful! We have been long time fans of all of their pastries and the tea service was a great way to get to try so many of them. Well worth the price, we ended up full and with plenty of leftovers to take home for desert later. We will certainly be back!

It’s a super cute and inviting space. The pastries are delicious. We tried crepes, banana bread, spinach danish, quiche, and cookies. We went two days in a row to try more the second day because everything was so good. As many reviews state, it is pricey, but really, for Austin, and for the quality, it’s not overly so.

I was so excited to try this place out. We stayed at the Renaissance Hotel and walked over for breakfast. We ordered couple of the spinach danishes, an almond croissant, and a crepe. We also ordered a cappuccino, a cafe au lait, and an Americano. Our tab was $51! The spinach danish was under-seasoned and the almond croissant was reheated but overly so. It was too crunchy and the filling dry.

That’s the food part - now for the service - we were the first ones in for the morning. Not a single greeting - even as we waited for about 5 minutes while the two employees got things set up. We were about to leave but then one of them stood at the registered and just looked at us so we just started ordering. It was awkward. Not a “hi! What can we get for you today?” Just looking at us.

Then, when it came to finding a table, it appeared as though they hadn’t been wiped down from the night before and nothing was replenished. The creamer cups were half full & had crusty coffee on them, the napkins weren’t full, the water pitcher had no ice and condensation at the bottom, so probably out from the night before.

Will likely not return again.

My friend and I stumbled onto this place online. We thought we'd try it out because it looks so cute. And..thats about it honestly. It just looks cute. The pastries were ok.. there is no iced beverages. The prices are crazy for just okay coffee and pastries. It honestly felt like the workers didn't even want us in there. Weird vibe

Rose bakery is super cute!
Stopped in for tea time special event. It was nicely decorated with 3 options of teas, assortment of finger foods and sweets (hot, cold and room temp).

Favorite items:
-scones w homemade butter
-cucumber sandwich
-lemon raspberry tart

Things I wished for
-either larger tables or ability to collect trash/empties more frequently
-option for 3 different types of sandwiches
-larger tea selection (they pre selected the tea and checked in when it was time to transition to a new tea)
