We stopped by The Yard Milkshake Bar in Austin and tried the strawberry cheesecake milkshake, the mango ice cream (with real mango pieces, which was lovely), and my son went for the cotton candy ice cream. The shakes are definitely fun and over-the-top, perfect for the experience. The space itself is a bit cramped with limited seating, and while the ice cream tastes about the same as other shops, the price is definitely higher. Line seemed to be ok but ice cream was bluebell and the price was over $12. Got a milkshake and they only had small straws to drink with and the ice cream was filled over the lid edge making a huge mess they were also out of their highly advertised cups and various flavors of ice cream which seems to also be a trend in reviews.
