This place remains a great value, even with prices rising everywhere. I usually order the small tuna salad with an extra scoop, and it’s surprisingly filling. The mix of provolone, mayo, mustard, onions, and tomatoes hits just right. Today’s server really went the extra mile by chopping the tomatoes so they wouldn’t slide out—such a thoughtful touch. We popped in for the first time. There were stations setup to take and make your order. I got a chef salad and he got the Austin Club salad. We both were full after lunch. The place is pretty bare bones but the food was good and fresh.
My favorite kind of a sandwich shop, not major chain! We had an Austin club and a regular club sandwich. Both were quite tasty and the perfect size. I liked the quality of the meat, vegetables all seemed fresh, bread might’ve been a little thick, but was tasty. Soft drinks were Dr Pepper based products.
