We popped in for the first time. There were stations setup to take and make your order. I got a chef salad and he got the Austin Club salad. We both were full after lunch. The place is pretty bare bones but the food was good and fresh.
My favorite kind of a sandwich shop, not major chain! We had an Austin club and a regular club sandwich. Both were quite tasty and the perfect size. I liked the quality of the meat, vegetables all seemed fresh, bread might’ve been a little thick, but was tasty. Soft drinks were Dr Pepper based products.
Very few things in Austin have stayed the same to us old Austin OG's. Thundercloud is one of those things that is exactly like I remember it. My wife and I were in town and have been craving Thundercloud for awhile and they didn't dissapoint. My wife got the tuna foot long and I got the roast beef & avocado with extra thunder sauce and we both got broccoli cheese soup. Everything was absolutely perfect. Can't wait to come back.
