If you ever find yourself filling your gas up on Research Boulevard and craving a quick taco or two then Tierra Linda is the place for you. Located inside the Familia Market the workers are quickly churning out some of our favorite breakfast tacos in the neighborhood. We’ve gone there many times and tried many different combinations but the standouts are typically those featuring their sausage or chorizo.
Ordering is quick but it can get busy as they also take phone orders which can sometimes get things backed up (we’ve waited anywhere from 10-25 minutes before). The staff is friendly and very generous with the salsa; the tacos are also pretty reasonably priced.
Altogether, Tierra Linda is a good, quick, and cheap fix for breakfast tacos that we’d recommend in the North Austin area.

Oh wow! DELICIOUS…. I got the breakfast burrito and I enjoyed every single bite. Very clean, great customer service, and quick. I only waited maybe 7-8 minutes, and Ingredients are fresh. I am visiting Austin and so glad I found this place.
The store is very big and have everything and ordered, but the cashier was very rude and mean, definitely they need to hire better people for that position.

After moving to Austin, I was very disappointed in Mexican food here as they weren’t good at all. I had lost hope in finding a good mexican place. However, coming to this place revived my hope in Mexican food in Austin.This was one of the most delicious foods I have ever had. Their sauces were of 4 different kinds and spice levels which I had never seen before. The food place is inside of a mexican market which also serves amazing snacks. I highly recommend checking out this place.
