Tiki Bar, = GREAT cocktails Jungle SuspensefulADVENTURE.This place really sets the mode for some awesome vibes that put you in the middle of a jungle it's like nowhere else you can locally visit.Definitely a must see if you are in Austin TXI've hit a lot of Tiki bars, and I will add this place on my list to recommend.The drinks were amazing ? ?I really like their attention to detail and the knowledge of all staff members.
Great cocktails, food, and service! My wife and I travel to tiki bars in every city we go to and this one is definitely top notch. The specialty "group" cocktails come with a little something extra in a sound and light show that is fairly unique to the bars we've been to, we recommend the SOS for that. For individual cocktails, the traditional cocktails were our favorite. On our second visit we tried the food and the Pu pu Platter was great, I really enjoyed the wings and my wife enjoyed the coconut shrimp. The crab lagoon was like a deconstructed crab rangoon that was interesting. We feel like this rates up there close to 3 dots in Chicago. Definitely give it a try when you're in Austin and then plan on coming back at least one more time to finish off the menu before you have to leave town!

This was an unexpected but absolutely magical night. The pu pu platter was one of the most delicious things I've ever had and the drinks were out of this world. I'm only in Austin for a week but I am thinking of going back already.
Such a cute and fun spot - good for small groups or a date night. The vibes and the whole experience of ordering is so novel - great if you want something different or you're trying to impress. Food and drinks were all yummy and the staff were great about allergies. If you want a cheap meal, this isn't it - but you are paying for the whole experience and - to me - it is totally worth it!I did have a bit of an issue/miscommunication booking for a larger group but the GM was incredibly helpful in the aftermath.

We walked in on weekday night and we had to wait for about an hour. It was worth every minute we waited. The food, the drinks and the experience were amazing.Zombie here was totally blew my mind. It was the best Zombie that I ever had. The spices and the sweetness, it was perfect. Zack was our bartender and he was on top of everything! Highly recommend making a reservation before hand for a bit better experience.
Where are the female staff??? As a woman who was in the industry for 11 years until 4 months ago, a large number of male staff to female staff ratio raises red flags for me. There is a lot of sexism in the bar industry. Not saying that’s the case here but seeing one female staff member to 10 male staff members on top of the at least 5 warnings I’ve received from other industry workers to never work here bc of management issues…Idk alarm bells ringing.Now in terms of what non-industry people care about. Drinks are small for the price. I’d estimate they’re do 1.5 oz liquor + liqueurs per drink, which for a tiki place at these prices is just a little under what I’d consider satisfactory.The vibe was meh. Just very 90s rainforest cafe with that same damp, musty basement smell that seemed to emanate from those places at that time.It’s a good novelty place but the booze to dollar ratio is slightly lower than I’d hope. The vibe feels very much first date interviewing one another. Very 90s. I was hoping the drinks would make up for it bc I was impressed by the menu. The drinks themselves areNOT very 90s. They have so much promise. But they just need to up the ratios or lower the prices by a few dollars for the bar program to compensate for the kitschy vibe.
