Amazing dining experience at Tiny Boxwoods Austin! I’ve tried their cookies before, but never ate onsite at their restaurant. I’ve been missing out all these years. They have a wonderful staff, from the front to our server. The pasta was delicious and just the right portion. I recommend this place if you’re in the Rosedale area.

Has attentive, fast and helpful service at the bar. The young male bar tender even helped me discover a new Italian white I hadn’t yet tried. The portion on the avocado toast with smoked salmon is impressive! Couldn’t even finish it all. Also the vibes of the place, very cottage core. So cute for a girls brunch.

Our visit to Tiny Boxwoods was nothing short of magical! We were definitely impressed. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, setting the stage for a memorable meal. Ollie and Andrew, our friendly bartenders/servers were absolute stars, offering top-notch service and helping us navigate the menu with their insightful recommendations. The food was exquisite, from the fresh bread service and Caesar salad to the delectable ribeye steak, paired with asparagus and potatoes. Each dish we savored was a culinary masterpiece. Truly, Tiny Boxwoods exceeded our expectations in every way, making it a must-visit destination for food lovers. Overall, our dining experience was fantastic, and we can't wait to return! Thank you, Ollie and Andrew for a great experience

We had a small baby shower brunch this weekend at Tiny Boxwoods in Austin and it was 10/10!!! This is the perfect place for a date or brunch with the girls. First of all, reserving a table with a phone call to the restaurant was really easy and they were very accommodating when I wanted to add another person a few days before. The vibes - immaculate. The details - they didn’t miss. Even their menus are beautiful! They have delicious iced lattes and their appetizers were DELISH. I’m still dreaming about the wood fired artichokes! Our food was amazing. Our server was great and I have zero complaints about anything. I can’t wait to go back!!!

What a lovely discovery! Tucked into a little corner near 35th Street, the atmosphere felt perfectly hidden away from the busy city. Sitting on the outdoor patio for an intimate brunch date with great food was well worth the visit. It is a unique dining experience, to say the least. Can't wait to come back!

Parking - there’s a lot with several spaces, more parking at the complex next door, and some street parking next to that. Can be difficult/hectic during prime brunch hours.

Reservations are recommended (when possible) as they can get very busy. I’ve been here a couple of times (once seated at a table, twice at the bar). The table service was great and the waiters were attentive. The bar service is hit or miss, on one occasion sitting near the coffee machines, we felt very rushed by the bartender - we were planning to order some pastries to go, but we were just given the check right after getting our entrees.

Food -
Pastry board - a good option if you have a couple pastries that you want to try. The vanilla bean brioche is amazing - would 100% get again, the chocolate croissant was good, and I would skip the chocolate & orange croissant next time - this was good but nothing special.

Migas - very good and filling. Overall rating 5/5.

Breakfast Sammie with sausage - everything was great about this, the eggs, protein, and even the side of potatoes. A bit heavier but delicious. Overall rating 5/5.

Burger - got this during a different visit and it was also very good. The fries were good, but not my favorite. Overall rating 4/5.

Kids at the school around the corner. The burrata and beat it burger were outstanding.

Can't say enough about this charming little restaurant. Loved the patio seating, nice fans for cooling the air and a dining area surrounding a green space for furry four legged family members. The risotto with scallops was delicious!

We visited Tiny Boxwoods during a weekend trip & it was absolutely one of our very favorites! Whenever I return to Austin, this will be a must! Not only is the surrounding area very cute, but the restaurant is very tasty! We both got the 'Mother's Breakfast' with a side of fries - one side of house fries & another of waffle sweet potato fries. Truly you can't go wrong here!

we love tiny boxwoods in houston, so while visiting my sister in austin for her birthday, we had to check it out for brunch. we didn't have a reservation and i’d recommend making one, so they told us it would be about an hour wait for our party of four. but lucky us, we got seated in just 15 minutes because of a cancellation, definitely a win!

our server amanda r. was amazing and super friendly. she gave us great service and spot-on recommendations. seriously, we need more people like her!

everyone loved their orders, which included steak and eggs, la provencal, mother's breakfast, and avocado toast. we also went for the pastry board that had a cinnamon roll, chocolate croissant, and banana bread, and everything was delicious.

we all got coffees too. i had a vanilla cappuccino and others ordered lattes, but the favorite was definitely the matcha with honey lavender.

overall, it was a fantastic brunch and i can't wait to come back!

This is one of my very favorite restaurants in Austin! I love the atmosphere, the vibe, the food, and the cocktails too! Don’t forget to order one of their delectable chocolate chip cookies for dessert!

The food is delicious. Must sit inside. The outdoor patio shouldn’t be allowed in summer. The fans only work on a few tables, many are full sun, and it’s HOT. Would be nice to have coverage, misters, and more fans to make it tolerable.

Service was slow, burrata and cocktails good but pizza wasn’t great.
