Update: I just had the worst powdery cheese soup that someone dares to call queso. The taco I got was great but this place used to be the greatest queso in Austin and now convenience store nachos sound appetizing in comparison. - old 3* review - Our table was beyond wobbly and there were way too many flies inside the building but other than that the food was good as Torchy's always is.

Very very hot, was told what I ordered wasn't spicy, it was . They left off the sauce that was supposed to be hot, still could barely eat it, only because I was really hungry. I guess the people that work there like to eat fire, when a diner asks for not spicy, believe them. Went there because that's where the group picked, not again for me.

Came here for the first time and we got to try two vegetarian tacos! Both of them were good but wish they have more variety in vegetarian menu! We ordered two of each; one for corn tortillas and another one for flour. Personally, I liked corn tortillas better. I got root beer for my drink but it wasn’t that good. 😅

I love my local Torchys! Always a friendly and clean spot. Tacos are amazing but the staff really make it special. Ella took amazing care of my big family group of 12 people, cleaning up and bringing extra sauce and waters. Yareh at register was super kind as well, very honest and great service! The kitchen is doing what they do best… making DAMN GOOD Tacos!
