“Practically work next door and I order from Tropical Cafe at least twice a week. Food and smoothies are awesome, fresh ingredients, never have had a bad experience with the food or service. Staff is always happy and smiling, establishment is very inviting when you walk in, have my coworkers hooked on coming here for a smoothie!“

“Great place! Please stop letting the table park in front of your door asking for money towards the charities. They are too pushy. For someone who goes daily, I just can't donate to them every single day and I have to get in this long conversation about it every time and sometimes it's a bit much. Actually, every time it's a bit much.“

“We used to get their fruit smoothies often but had not been here for years since we've been on a health kick. Last Saturday, we stopped by after spending the whole day outdoors and were seriously thirsty. This location is hidden at The Triangle on 47th St. There was not a single customer when we walked in, maybe that's why they didn't turn on the lights in the back so it was a bit dark and not super inviting. Also, it seemed they might get a lot of deliveries at this location since the first question we were asked when we walked in was if we were there for delivery pick-up. There are plenty of seats inside and their gender neutral bathroom was nice and clean. We ordered their "Blimey Limey" and "Mango Magic". We used to love their Blimey Limey as it was so delicious with a bit of tang - or so we thought back then. However, this time it was good, but it was really really sweet for our liking. Their mango magic would have been better if they had used very ripe mango. The unripe mango contributed a starchy flavor to the smoothie which was not super tasty. For most people, I think they will really like this place, we have just gotten used to making our own smoothies at home (which fit our pallet to a tee); so nothing against them at all--still a solid place for some on the go refreshment.“
“This is my first time visiting this location and I got to say the staff was excellent the young lady who took care of my order was professional , courteous and had a great attitude..Also thought for the price point the smoothies were great value and tastes wonderful I'll definitely be back“
