This is a gem (joya) of Cuban food in Austin. It reminds me of eating cuban food in Miami. The staff is always attentive and with a smile. Their arroz con pollo.(rice with chicken) is absolutely yummy. You can order a delicious large hot cafe con leche and cuban toast (tostadas cubanas). I highly recommend to go eventhough its in a hidden area its a treasure here in Austin. Also thanks for always making me delicious cafe con leche ☕😊

Quaint strip mall restaurant. People working are kind and accommodating. We went in during a Monday afternoon, Happy hour was beer and I wish they had a proper happy hour menu with some cocktails and small bites but that is just my preference. We got the appetizer sampler and were extremely satisfied. Since we loved it we had to try a few more things went to look at their gorgeous pastry case and I would love to just go back for coffee and a pastry but instead got a coconut cake style dessert. We also added on a seafood ceviche tostada and was so happy we did! Tasted fresh and textures on the mixto were all great which is actually uncommon and a delight. Service was so friendly and drinks were delicious! Albeit a bit non traditional from an average bar.

Very casual little spot with very friendly service and great Cuban food. One of the best Cuban sandwiches in town. Fun cocktails and reasonable prices

My partner and I stopped by for a quick dinner before a concert. My partner, who lived in Cuba for much of his life, recalled how the meal (the congri in specific), reminded him of home cooked meals with his grandmother. Melissa and Emma both waited on us and were friendly. We even got to try their new pumpkin flan which was just sweet enough! Definitely recommend a stop here

Awesome food, cool vibe, and super friendly and fast service! I really like the decorations all around the restaurant. The food was awesome and the portions were plenty for the price! Drink menu had lots of options and the margarita and caiparinha were both amazing!! Absolutely will be coming back here for some more awesome Cuban food.

This place is the worst and definitely not Cuban at all their cooks are not Cuban the bread is old the portions when you order to go are very small the croquetas are burnt as well as las papas rellenas . Will not be going back.NOT AUTHENTIC CUBAN FOOD ! I’m CUBAN AND IM ALSO FROM Miami FL I know Cuban food in general. 🤥Stop lying to people!

When I’m craving lechón asado, Tropicana is my go-to. Their version is consistently tender, juicy, and packed with that garlicky mojo flavor that tastes like home. It never misses.

This time I ordered delivery and added pollo frito too—crispy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. No grease overload, just pure comfort food goodness.

Everything arrived hot, fresh, and well-packed—no spills, no soggy sides. Just delicious Cuban food right to my doorstep.

If you’re craving Cuban classics, this spot is always worth it.
