Amazing as always! Thank you to the Chef who came to our table and helped us out and to the server who was always smiling! We will keep coming back!

The food was amazing. I had the Lasagna and it was better than home cooking. We will definitely be back!

Went for Sunday brunch. Not that crowed but waited quite a while before being waited on. Long wait to get our coffee - then it was cool. Food was not hot. Seems like True Food has lost its way. Used to like this restaurant but won't go back til they get their act together again.

Everyone at my table said their food was amazing . . . and I know mine was! Wonderful flavor, texture . . . one of the best salads I've ever eaten (and I've been eating for over 50 years now!). The service was also excellent. We needed to leave at a specific time and our waiter made sure all was taken care of by then. He was professional, personable and knowledgeable. the noise level was enjoyably low because we were there in the late afternoon on a Monday so there wasn't a crowd yet. I will definitely return, and I definitely recommend the restaurant.

Service was slow, and some dishes were not warm when they came out. I didn't know till after (as it wasn't my dish) or I would have mentioned it to the server.

Food so fresh and tasty. And our waiter was really attentive and nice to us. Thanks True Food.

Opentable Diner

True Food Kitchen offers a delightful dining experience with flavorful, fresh dishes and outstanding service. The staff was attentive and ensured everything was perfect from start to finish. While the outdoor seating was pleasant, the presence of birds and other animals was a bit distracting. Overall, it's a great spot for a healthy meal, but I'd recommend sitting indoors if you prefer a more relaxed environment.

I wish I could give this place five stars because the food tastes so amazing. My date and I both got food poisoning from this place. This is the only possibility because neither of us ate anything else last night. I suspect it was the tuna appetizer.

Great Tuna Tataki and Ancient Green bowl with shrimp. Both dinners were well prepared and served. Smoky Old Fashioned cocktails are always a welcome treat but orange peel was conspicuously absent so the hint of muddled orange was absent.
Noah, our server was attentive, efficient a gracious "host" and informative. They are lucky to have him on staff.
Our first time eating at a True Foods, but we'll be back when we return to Austin

Took my wife here just to try it out and what a great choice that was. The food was like a breath of fresh air and the location and atmosphere is fantastic. Trinity was a superb server! She was very welcoming and attentive and helped us with any questions and requests we had. Definitely plan to return!

Interesting evening last night. We frequent the downtown Austin store at least once a month and have always had stellar experiences. Last night, not so much. The tuna appetizer was very flavorful but we received no warning of how hot the dipping sauce was. My main dish was completely wrong, and my wife’s dish was unlike any we have had before, bland and lacking many ingredients listed on the menu. Once I received my Thai Bowl it still lacked the usual peanut kick I was desiring. Having a service history, I was understanding until the coffee arrived, cold. Not lukewarm, stone cold. When the check arrived we were told the appetizer had been removed (we had a coupon for this), as was the incorrect dish and the cold coffee…. as if a favor had been done for us. No table touch by management, no real concern shown. Living in Marble Falls, we may choose another more enticing option next time we are in the city, after all, the Chroncle’s “Best of Austin” just published . DS
