Truluck's Ocean's Finest Seafood and Crab

I recently celebrated my birthday at Truluck, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the thoughtful ‘Happy Birthday’ card on the table to the excellent service from Sean, every detail was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, and the environment was top-notch, making it one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Austin. Highly recommend Truluck for any special occasion or just a great night out!

We went to celebrate my birthday, and cannot rave enough about the food and the staff!
The staff was kind, funny, accommodating, and professional.

The food was SO GOOD!! We got the whole Bronzino and seabass, and the Parmesan mashed potatoes (OMFG!).

5-star rating. We’ll be back again.

FABULOUS dining experience for our Girls Trip! Great food and drinks, excellent service, and perfect seating on the upper level outdoor patio overlooking downtown. Our host, Katelyn, took care of our every need and treated us like we were her only customer. THANK YOU!

The crab claws are definitely worth ordering to start your meal. Lobster Bisque and Little Gems Caesar, amazing, but everything was great. Definitely will be frequenting Truluck’s! Love this place!

My husband and I dined at Trulucks for our anniversary. The managers and our server went over and above to ensure we had a perfect celebratory dinner. The food was amazing as always!

The waitstaff was outstanding and the food was great. We sat outside on the patio and they had misters to keep us cool. Our table was waiting for us when we arrived.

I have been to Truluck’s twice now in the last year and both experiences have been the best service I have had dining out during that time.

I called ahead on my last visit and mentioned a minor celebration for our visit and the entire staff- from the hosts, waiters and managers made it a super special experience for my partner. Every staff member made a generous comment on the occasion throughout the night and our table had rose pedals and a thoughtful letter.

You will feel like the entire restaurant staff is there to serve you in a manner that isn’t “too much”. The general managers are on top of their game and if you like to interact with staff everyone is very friendly and accommodating.

The food is excellent and the menu isn’t overwhelming which I love. I can’t speak on the non-seafood items since I’ve never tried them but if you like Seafood everything is great.

I highly recommend this restaurant for any parties celebrating special occasions such as birthdays or anniversary’s. If you call ahead and mention the reason for attending they will knock it out of the park.

I came in for an interview that was scheduled at 2:00, I sat there until 2:20 with no update, no offering of water or anything. I decided to leave as I was paying for parking and have respect for myself and my time. I emailed the manager letting him know my concerns with how their treatment towards candidates does not align with Trulucks standards and received no response. It is very evident that the manager only cares about putting on a facade for customers who are directly spending money in that moment and not about genuinely running the restaurant to Trulucks standards which little does he know, has caused them to lose someone who’s been a customer of their establishment since 2018. It’s very disheartening as I have dined at their restaurant multiple times but will now be opting for Eddy V’s as the lack of respect for their candidates and their time has just left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Went here for our anniversary and our experience was amazing! To start off, the hostesses greeted us with the sweetest smile and even congratulated us on our anniversary. We were then walked upstairs to the second floor and were again greeted by the restaurant manager who was very kind and welcoming and he also congratulated us. He was so attentive and just amazing overall. Our table was decorated with rose petals and a “Happy Anniversary” sign which was the sweetest touch! One waiter came with our drinks and he was a gem, whom, of course also congratulated us! Our waiter Colin, was absolutely amazing. He made us feel welcome! He always checked up on us, he described the items on the menu which such detail, he was just overall very kind! Colin brought us a dessert for our anniversary and it was such a great way to end the night. First time here and will definitely be coming back because the customer service and the food was simply out of this world! 10/10!
