One of the worst decisions I’ve ever made in my life is allowing myself to get on this program. I’m considering going back to the shelter and giving up my voucher. This program is horrible. These people will count plasma as income. And if you don’t report whatever income you are getting they do not care if it’s day labor or a temporary assignment through apple play store you will be charged 30%. I owe them over 3 thousand dollars from not reporting a day labor assignment. And thank god if your caseworker decides to let you know you now have a portion. Otherwise you will accumulate late fees such I have twice now two different properties. You would think because I submitted my full time student paperwork I would not have a portion. Wrong. And of course my caseworker did not make me aware that I have a portion Now late fees are accumulating. They do not care about you. Not one bit. My caseworker in particular told me she does not have to have compassion towards me or my mental health. This program will drive you straight to the hospital because of stress. This has been the worst experience of my life. I wish I would’ve never accepted this program. It’s a horrible experience.
Got all the necessary paperwork done, everyone was nice and respectful
Great Experience!
Hopie Soto was incredibly helpful, polite, and professional. She made the whole process smooth and easy. Really appreciate the support!
Dawn Flores goes above and beyond for her clients.
Shannon Huerta and Chris Crowder have been amazing to work with! They have been assisting me with porting my disabled mother’s information to another housing authority. They have been so responsive to emails and phone calls. I truly appreciate them making this process so easy for her! Thank you HACA!
I am dealing with something I love at meadowbrook apartments I need to talk to someone above them and management because they say I owe for not reporting my jobs but last year I was paying and paying and the last case worker I was with said it was going down Santa that’s her name and I asked them to print out what I owe if I owe that much they are charging me which is 4500 they act like they couldn’t print anything out what a terrible place talking about Santa is still making sum adjustments I said how is that possible when just recently yall told me Santa didn’t work for meadowbrook no more make it make sense cuz I’m not understanding
Thank You HACA FOR HELPING ME OUT!
Who do I talk to about getting in to a House so I have a back yard for My Service Animals! So they can run & play
What an awful awful experience. I originally called a couple months ago and spoke to really nice and pleasant woman who was very helpful and even sent me apartments taking vouchers. And told me they’re accepting transfer vouchers. Come to find out as I set up to move to Austin that they’re actually not absorbing but billing - completely not what was said originally. My housing in PA does NOT do billing. I called portable specialist a few times (Delechia Brown) and finally heard back - in the email she said absorbing can be done with sole discretion. (Screenshot of that) So when she called I asked her what that meant and very coldly said “we are billing” ok then why did you put that in the email? When I asked - she didn’t say anything back she was very quiet so I hung up on her - like no one had any regard for me and my child about to relocate. We set up movers, etc you name it. What is the point of housing if the transfer makes it impossible? Why would a rural town have to pay for a more pricey voucher in a city? It’s like everyone wants you stuck rather than progressing for more opportunity. I’ll be contacting HUD in general because this is absolutely awful.
Section 8 is always helpful
I was lied to for 3 years from these heartless people, that's your government for you.Maybe homeless again due to there lack of knowledge
Restaurantji Recommends
The manager Nancy Gomez at Coronado Hills apartments is amazing and beyond helpful. She has worked with me through any and everything I have experienced while living here. She is very knowledgeable and just a great person overall. I appreciate you lady. Thank you for everything. B Booker
I could not find a place in 3 mnths.. They took the voucher from me. With no information on how to re apply.. Just simply .. U cant find a place? Give us our voucher back.. We wont help or extend based on policy.. I asked for accommodations i was turned down.. They dont care about mental health.. Or your homelessness.. If u dont find a place in time.. Your just without a home and help from them..
Read the reviews!!!! Dylan Shubitz laughed at my situation after there screw up on my application. I've been on the waiting list for Section 8 for 6 years!!!! I finally got an email for my application. They failed to updated my address during the interview, all my checks stubs had my new address and my profile online been updated since I moved. Don't even waste your time here they can't do nothing but piss you off.
Having the help of the housing authority has changed our lives I never accomplished keeping a home for longer then a year at a time due to rent increases bills piling up not making enough losing a job whatever the case it made for lots of moving I hated doing that to my kids but since 2015 ive only lived in 2 different places its been a blessing beyond measure thank you always!!!
Andrea Gonzalez comes across as very degenerate.
She speaks very disrespectful. She lacks social & people
skills. Whenever I contact her it seems to be a habit of disrespect with her rude responses. This woman seem's to
struggle with complexes. She need's to conduct herself in a professional manner.
I'm not going to put up with her bullying & Abuse.Being
Hateful, and intentional disrespect with the snide responses. There is no need to be mistreating any of the clients.
If she can't be patient with the clients,or much helpful.
Perhaps she should not be working in this field of work.
If you are going to work with people/people with disabilities.
She will need to have patience, and explain things thoroughly.
When I keep telling her the same thing over again.
It's like she is not comprehending, and understanding about
what I'm telling her.
I'm going to need a different Housing-Specialist. I do not wan't to keep being under her case load.
She seems to have taking some kind of problem with me.
I'm not for the narcissists abuse, and toxic attitude .
It's like pulling teeth trying to get her to get my movers packet ready. Excuse after excuse I do not want to play these games. She is not of any benefit to me.
I need a different specialists that is actually here to get their job done.Where I can get my necessary paperwork taking care of for my housing.
