Uchiko is consistently wonderful. Excellent food, service and overall dining experience. The happy hour is great value. Additionally, we had a table waiting on ours and the manager gave us $25 gift cards for the inconvenience. Not necessary at all but a kind gesture.

We always are treated to a wonderful experience at Uchiko. Tonight was no exception. The food was absolute perfection. Every ingredient is impeccably sourced and masterfully prepared. Our server, Brian is absolutely a joy to work with and truly took care of us like family. I can't say enough.

I visit uchiko regularly and this review is influenced by a recent stay in Japan. Despite an odd night, it remains a favorite of mine. I sat at the bar and was disappointed to get my canned beer in a room temperature small water glass. It was a mood killer for enjoying my beer. Next for the Ko salad I was told TWICE to eat it with my fingers. Ok ok maybe I don't want to.... It had fallen apart and my fingers were in dressing ack. So I found that intrusion off putting.
