Came in on a Saturday night and it was empty, ordered $38 worth of drinks but after their auto gratuity I some how was charged $50. CRAZY there was no signage and that is well above the standard 20%
Called and the manager and I got in a fight because he was being so rude. He called me back and said after taxes it was the correct amount and it’s not their fault I can’t do math. I have never cussed at someone over the phone and I’m not proud of my reaction, but do yourself a favor and go somewhere. When I was at the bar the bar tender couldn’t explain the charges and had a “too bad” attitude. My friends did to have the same auto grat on their receipt. It might help to mention I was the only black person in the bar. Tried to give this place a chance but the rumors are true. Stay away.

I visited Austin in May 2022 and saw this place while on 6th st and thought it looked amazing. Me and my friend entered the bar at about 6:30pm and were NEVER greeted, not even spoken to in the slightest. We sat at a table and at the bar and were never asked if we wanted a drink, we couldn’t get anyones attention- the bar tenders just rolled their eyes at us! Horrible service, we went up the street to Bull & Bowl- way better!

I walked in at 3:15 PM on a Saturday (11/12/22) and all the W. 6th bars were jam packed. I was the only patron in this place and was greeted and treated with an attitude. I've never had a good experience at this place but decided to give them another chance after a year.I have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and come from a world where if you are the only person in the establishment, roll out the red carpet... The owner needs to fire the GM.

I straight up asked the guy for his best appetizer and he said this I cannot go wrong with any. We had the fried pickles and complimentary mozzerella sticks and they were the bomb! So good. Worth trying out in a fun atmosphere.
